I went to Nashville with 40 couples (80 people) for a Husband & Wife Summer Retreat. We were there a week and on July 7th our coordinator decided to take us to brunch at the Pancake Pantry in Nashville. I sat at a table of 8 people. The waitress came and took our orders which were not complicated, and 1... More

I've visited pancake pantry many of times the food is good & so is the service. However the coffee tastes like it's instant not freshly ground. It was so bad I'm tempted to bring my own next time from home.

We got to the restaurant about 7 a.m. There were only about 12 customers there when we arrived, but shortly afterwards more people started showing up.. We had the Sweet Potato and the Banana Bread pancakes with their home made cinnamon cream syrup. They were delicious. Parking around back is free for the first 1 1/2 hours.

If your wanting to go to a Nashville staple, this is the place to be. Drive through the Vanderbilt campus to get to the restaurant and then eat some of the best pancakes ever made...much better then ihop I might add. Beware, get there before 8 am otherwise you will be waiting in a line outside to get in.

Stopped in about 930 am on a Tuesday, just my wife and me. We only waited about 10 minutes to get a seat. After sitting down it took about 10 minutes for a waitress to come over to take our order for drinks, which was 2 coffees. She left our table and went to another table and talk to that... More

I normally always leave disappointed when I set my expectations too high for a restaurant, but not this time! It was worth the hype and the wait. We got there before 8am on a Saturday and only waited about 15 minutes. Their staple the sweet potato pancakes are a must! Loved every morsel of every bite!

I like Pancake Pantry, but I don't love it. I think the pancakes are better at Fido to be honest. There is always a line for Pancake Pantry so I guess a lot of other people like it!

We saw this place on "Man vs Food" and put it on our list of places to hit while in Nashville. We saw the line but still decided to go for it. The line moved pretty fast while we were there and we were seated in under 30 minutes. My wife got the sweet potato pancakes which come with cinnamon... More

The pancakes are phenomenal and you get 4 or 5 depending on which kind you order. You're looking at 7 to 10 bucks per dish, again depending on what you get. Sausage or bacon is a la carte and is about 4 bucks. We waited in line about 10 minutes at 9 in the morning. Once we left, the line... More
