I got the plain pancakes and they were soooo yummy! The syrup was warm and the pancakes weren't dry at all. I enjoyed the food. The line around the building wasn't that fun to wait in, but to get good food I can't complain!

This place was highly recommended and lived up to its reputation. Fortunately, we went on a Tuesday morning and did not have to wait for a table. The menu had so many delicious-sounding pancake choices that it was difficult to decide what to order! My husband chose the Swedish crepes and I had the Southwest pancakes. Both were wonderful and... Group of 10 women arrived in Nashville and met for lunch at 12:30. Sandwiches were outstanding (two of us split BLT and great grilled cheese) plus we ordered sweet potato pancakes. Wouldn't describe it as healthy...but worth the calories!

We asked several friends from the area where to go for breakfast and every single one of them recommended pancake pantry. Fortunately we went on a Thursday and were seated immediately without wait. I had the banana bread pancakes and my wife had the sweet potato pancakes - both were amazing.

So the wait was long, of course, but not too bad. I think we waited about 30 minutes. I had the sweet potato pancakes and they were very good! Great service and a clean place.

On the plus side: food was delicious, unpretentious and just good! Our server was also very nice and quick. On the blah side: their seating "system" needs some major re-do, the hostess cannot keep track of who came when and with who and kept asking us how many people were in our party... Then she sat somebody that came in... More

I convinced my mother to come to the Pancake Pantry in our most recent trip to Nashville. Though both times I have visited the lines has been at least an hour's wait, the food is great (love the chocolate chip pancakes) the service is excellent, and the people are friendly. I would certainly suggest this place to anyone wanting to... More

We initially went here based on other readers advice. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next morning. Luckily for us we were able to get seated quickly both times. It was easy to figure out why the long lines of people waiting to get seated.....the food is well worth the wait. The pancakes are wonderful and the chef's... More

We visited at around 11 and had to wait a bit in line to get in. I had a black bean burger and it was so delicious. Served with chips, sour cream, spinach, red opinion, and a small cup of cucumber salad. Yum!

We went on a Wednesday morning, there wasn't a wait at all. Great service and awesome pancakes! It was about $25 for both my husband and I, but it was worth every penny.
