Mr.

Beyond a shadow of any doubt and I have to rate this place up there with one of the best. The first impression on greeting when we walked in was just extra warm. The decor and layout makes one feel like a part of the party already going on. My wife and I was there on a business venture with... read more

We happened to be staying across the street from this great spot and asked for a recommendation. We could not have gotten a better tip! The food was excellent (Mushroom Ravioli & Caramelized Salmon) and the service was great. I would go back here in a heartbeat and hope I get the chance. Prices were very reasonable - even for... When our credit card statement arrived and I saw the name "Amerigo" on it, the memory came flooding back. We had read reviews and thought that we stood a chance of getting a good meal at this restaurant. Wrong! I ordered lasagne and was thoroughly dissatisfied. When I told our server that it was loaded with crushed red pepper and... More

After careful research we chose Amerigo on Saturday night for a very special birthday dinner - 22 friends/family who had traveled far to meet up in Nashville. While the food was good (somewhat authentic Italian but not the real deal - some items could be fresher). Sadly I cannot say the same about the service. I realize large parties are... More

I work just down the street from Amerigo and I'm always trying to check out the places near the hotel so I can recommend them to our guests. I ordered the Prime Sirloin with the leek potatoes and also what I think was either asparagus or green beens. I am not really a fan of green vegetables so I didn't... More

I really like this place, very cool atmosphere and cool area of town. They have very good Italian food. Their soup was very very good.

While in Nashville taking care of some personal business, my wife and I happened upon Amerigo which is located on West End Avenue. We decided to take dinner there. From the outside the restaurant presents itself well, however when entering through the front door the aroma takes you immediately to the land of Italy. The host and hostess were very... More

They have the best lasagna I have ever tasted. Last May I visited a close friend and we ordered take out. The service was excellent as was the lasagna. Will be traveling back to Nashville soon and have definite plans to order from here again.

Very good food. Be prepared to pay a bit more but it's worth it. the fresh bread with olive oil and spices is good. The butternut squash soup is very good.

Plenty of choices on the menu to satisfy almost anyone. I had the cedar plank pork chop which was a different presentation. If you like pork chops, try this dish. Other members of our group had the chicken parm & chicken acuto. The parm was ok but not the best we've tasted. The acuto was inventive and nicely done. Matt... More
