This is a very nice restaurant. We went there over parents' weekend at Vanderbilt. It is a stylish, friendly restaurant with really delicious food. The waiters were very friendly and accommodating. We did wait a while for the food -- but the restaurant was crowded. At the end, people who ordered tea got it five minutes before those who ordered... More

Amerigo consistently provides good food and great service at an affordable price. The bread and dip is a great way to start the meal. The Salmon and pastas are delicious.

On August 30 I took my wife to Nashville to have dinner at Amerigo's Italian Restaurant on West End Ave. near the U. of Vanderbilt campus. What an experience and wonderful menu! I had Smoked cedar salmon served on a thin cedar board with thinly slice zucchini, red sweet bell peppers, and squash. My had egg plant cheese parmesan. For... More

The bread was wonderfully warm and tasty with a nice seasoning. The restaurant was crowded on a Sunday evening, which was a good sign the food would be great. I had the veal and I was not disappointed. The parmesan polenta was very good.

We had lunch here and the pasta is wonderful. Every dish that was served at our table was perfect. The service was top notch. The atmosphere is very classy, but our family felt comfortable wearing our shorts. This is definitely a place to come to have truly good pasta.

I had the best salmon of my life at this restaurant, and I've had quite a bit of salmon! The bread was delicious, service was excellent and quick at busy lunch time, and atmosphere was perfect for business or a date. Yum!

Visiting my son, a student at Vanderbilt University, arrived in sunny weather that rapidly became down pouring rains that left us both soaked. Driving was impossible and found Amerigo close to campus and near the Barnes & Noble book store. Their hospitality was amazing. After we were seated at the second table as the first table was to cold for... More

We come from a large Italian American community and when we were in the mood for a little red sauce comfort food, this looked like the perfect spot. The portions were generous and our server, Rachel, was a lot of fun to visit with during the course of our meal. If you order the spaghetti, be prepared for a gigantic... More

This was not a bad experience, just not a great one. They did have some nice beer on tap: Champion and The Special. I ordered chicken marsala, and the presentation was very good. The "wine" sauce was way too watery, losing any positive contribution to the meal while the chicken was a little too bland for me. Portions were large... More
