Out of the ordinary selections

I had my mind made up before arriving. My daughter lives in Nashville and picked this restaurant before a show at the Ryman. I looked at the menu online and set my sights on the smoked antelope. Then we got there. Yelp shows the attire to be casual and I did see people in jeans but I would... read more

Was invited here by some friends and the choice was excellent. I had the smoked pork chops, my wife had the shrimp and grits. Both was wonderful. our friends got the trout, it looked great too. Worth a visit.

For starters, my meal had a few specific requests for substitutions/seasoning. They were handled perfectly by both the server and the kitchen staff. My beef tenderloin was SUPERB! The vegetables and potato were also done to perfection. It was cooked exactly how I liked it. Hope to visit again next time I am in Nashville. Our bartender/server Christina did an... More

We ate here while in town at a work convention, and it was our second trip back after being there the year before. I have to say the food is very good (or we wouldn't have come back). The selection is very creative, and they have a very different drink menu. However, right after finishing our meal a mouse ran... More

Nice atmosphere. Appetizers were unique but just didn't taste that great. We were having a business dinner and ordered several apps. They were average at best. I ordered the filet and I will say it was very good and the dipping sauce was good also. The menu is sparse only about 8 entrees to choose from. The bar area was... More

Our party of three had an early dinner on a Saturday night. Cocktails were good. We shared a number of appetizers and pizza. One appetizer was a special for the night with steak tips and mushrooms. It was very good. We also tried the pork belly which was ok, and the brussel sprouts which were just ok. The pizzas were... More

Found this to be a nice place for dinner--ambiance was inviting, food and drinks great--service could have been more attentive. they appeared to be a bit understaffed for a saturday nite

I heard that this was a happening place with long waits on Fri and Sat nights. Even getting reservations for those nights is tough, so I ended up having business dinner on a Tue evening. Totally different of course. Nearly empty. The service and ambience was excellent. The food was honestly just average, not bad but not great. We had... More

Group settings, especially holiday parties or get-togethers, can always try a restaurant's patience and push it towards (or over) its natural boundaries. Coincidentally enough, Bound'ry has such a problem. The upstairs room seems a perfect spot for a 20+ group, until you add in rain, suffocating heat, and a leaking roof and walls. Outside, we were pelleted by rain and... More

The food was amazing! Very good! The only drawback was the service. We had a group of 10 and it took forever to get out order in and even longer to get drinks. However, I'm giving them a pass because it was a large group and I will be trying them again.
