My wife and I had a date night here recently and really enjoyed it! Such a great atmosphere and the food was really amazing. For our starter, we tried the cheese plate and some in house baked focaccia bread. WOW was it amazing! For the first course, she had the endive salad with a gorgonzola dressing and it was amazing.... The service was excellent and the restaurant itself adorable. The food was very different, I tried a squash and rice dish that was delightful as well as spiced pear drink and chocolate ginger cake with coffee ice cream for desert! Everything was so amazing and I enjoyed it all the more sitting in the indoor/outdoor patio area watching the passersby.

I was attending a conference in Opryland, but really wanted to try Margot Cafe based on the great reviews. It was AMAZING and definitely my favorite restaurant in Nashville. I had the cheese crepes appetizer- it was SO good. There are 5 or 6 different cheeses and the crepes were cooked perfectly. For the main course, I went with the... More

We went to Margot on a wed eve. Greg was our waiter and was so attentive and knowledgeable. He helped us with our wine selection and our menu choices. I had the pork tenderloin and my husband had the hanger steak. Everything was delicious!! We will definitely return to Margot and would recommend this restaurant.

Based on Trip Advisor reviews and friends who had eaten here we decided to give it a try. It is located in a part of Nashville that is not familiar to us although a very popular 'old' revitalized area. We made reservations a week in advance because it is a small space and gets booked regularly. The food was outstanding.... More

My wife found this restaurant using Tripadvisor. We were traveling to Nashville for a meeting and needed a place to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is housed in an old service station. It is in a neighborhood away from downtown Nashville that the cab driver called "bohemian". We felt safe in the neighborhood. The menu was short but interesting. They... More

We loved everything about this excellent restaurant. We were greeted with warmth and big smiles. Our waiter was attentive and charming adding that extra touch to our overall experience. We started with appetizers of delicious olives and the cheese selection/ bread followed by an incredible light creamy onion soup. My husband and daughter chose the duck for dinner which they... More

We started off with the homemade chips and devoured the bowl. I don't understand how chips could be so light. I was convinced that I would have, in the words of my mother, "spoiled my dinner" by eating so much before the main course. These chips are so light and flavourful that they don't fill you up but make you... More

We happened upon Margot Café during the middle of a storm. All the restaurants around the Woodland area had food that wasn't really appealing to us, so when we walked in to Margot's, the smell was amazing. The food is great, and the service is even better!
