Excellent Service, wonderful meal

I cannot say enough about the wonderful service from Greg at this restaurant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. The food was some of the best that I've had in Nashville (up there with Prima and Kayne Prime). Will definitely be back!

Love the concept of fresh and be daily menu. The service was great and friendly. The calamari starter was not good. It was rubbery and some pieces tough. The skirt steak was also fatty and tough. The snapper was good but it much on it. The dessert of cookies and French press was great. The fresh bread was also great.... More

As usual my trip to Nashville would not be complete with a dinner a Margot's. They did not disappoint me! My meal was impeccable, and I would recommend the barracuda pate. If you have not been and leave in Nashville or traveling through, this is a must!

We have dined here a few times- both for brunch and dinner. Brunch- can be really good, but it gets really busy. I have noticed with brunch the service is lack-luster because they are so busy. Also the food has come out the wrong temp- such as cold for french toast or over cooked steak. They have a great bread... More

My wife and I went for a date night. Adam was a great host available and knowledgeable. My wife had the duck and I had the linguine. Both terrific and satisfying. I will recommend a whiskey sour made with their lemonade.

We went for our Anniversary, from trip advisor categorizing it as "romntic," to the reviews and pictures, we expected this to be an upscale place, but we were sadly mistaken. Even the servers were wearing jeans! Atmosphere was uncomfortable and tables were so close together we could hear the conversation of the couple next to us. The food was good,... More

This is supposedly one of the pioneers of farm-to-table, locally sourced food in the Nashville area. It's fine but the menu is not that interesting and the food is unmemorable.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for so long and finally made it there this weekend. We arrived early and had wine in the bar. The bartender was so nice and friendly. Then Margot took us to our table. She also is very nice and welcoming. Our food was great. Calif blue cheese and olives to start with... More

If you're thinking someplace away from the proverbial tourist spot, Margot Cafe is it; located in north Nashville. Great vibe, lots of charm and definitely a hipster place to dine. The brunch menu is a limited selection, however interesting and meets the requirements of carbs and protein selections. I had the Baked eggs and grits. This was two eggs over... More

Warm bistro setting with very creative dishes Loved my roasted beets with pistachios & buttermilk dressing on the side to dip the beets in to. Roasted duck on a bed of shiitake mushroom risotto w/blueberry & roasted radicchio Dessert was fabulous & not too filling coconut lemon meringue pie
