Midtown Cafe is a "MUST" when we visit Nashville

Looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but it's definitely not. Food is amazing, servers are first class and you never know who you may run into while dining. We sat next to The Band Perry during one of our visits.

We walked by Midtown on our way to Vanderbilt and decided to check it out for dinner. The food was excellent. We sat outside and had some of the specialty drinks which were refreshing. The food was delicious and the wait staff were very friendly. It was fun to watch the street traffics while we enjoyed our dinner. Highly recommend.

This was such a pleasant surprise. From the outside, it has the look of maybe a hole-in-the-wall breakfast joint, but as soon as you walk in, you're in for a treat. It has a romantic, well-designed atmosphere with tasteful decor. The service was phenomenal and prompt. And the FOOD! Delicious. This restaurant completely won me over. I'll be back.

The Good: The best good I could mention; the food! The food was exceptional. As you may see from my reviews, I dine out a lot. I had the Ahi Tuna and it was literally the best I ever had. The texture and freshness and seasoning were exceptional. I also had a perfectly made martini. Appetizers were great also and... More

Don't judge the book by its cover. Not a great external appearance. The chicken piccata is awesome. Best I have ever had. A little dated on the interior but a solid food choice.

We were told about this "Julia Child's" inspired Restaurant by friends and we were not disappointed! The wine selection, outstanding menu and wonderful service made our experience so fun! There were 5 of us and they new we had a time crunch and they were very accommodating. The Chicken Piccata was so delicious and the mushroom Risotto excellent!! We wish... More

Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Midtown Cafe. You will need to take advantage of the Valet parking since this is a very busy area and not many parking places. We enjoyed the Lemon Artichoke Soup, Spinach Salad and the Shrimp and Grits were a featured dish. Very good...spicy and rich. http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g55229-d434782-r278738683-Midtown_Cafe-Nashville_Tennessee.html#

One of Nashville's best old restaurants with consistent good food and wine and to-die-for desserts. Great before a downtown venue because they shuttle you.
