One of Nashville's best old restaurants with consistent good food and wine and to-die-for desserts. Great before a downtown venue because they shuttle you.

First of all, they made a perfect mint julep. Then the beet salad and lobster mac & cheese were delicious. The server was very professional & kind, handling our large group with aplomb. It was about a mile and a half from our hotel but the ride to & from in Broadway Bob's elongated golf cart made it a memorable... More

The lemon artichoke soup is worth a trip to Nashville! Service, food and location exceptional. Right by the Vandy campus.

Seven of us had just arrived that evening in Nashville, for a family reunion. We wanted someplace easy to get to from our hotel, with decent food. It was definitely a short walk from the Embassy Suites at Vanderbilt. The staff was wonderful. Our waiter was a riot. Unfortunately, the food offered mixed results. The person who ordered veal 3... Went there for lunch, and the waiter was excellent. The food was very good, but not great when looking at the pricing. My Wife liked her turkey club, but has had better. The reuben I ordered was OK as well, but I was hoping for higher quality meat.

After reading all these wonderful reviews, I was wondering if there was another location that I missed??? Food was NOT out of this world, and extremely overpriced for what I got. The beef carpaccio - weird presentation, and absolutely no flavor. The small spinach salad, was nothing fancy. Service was so-so at the bar. Servers were standing there talking, but... More

Ok, that is a strong statement but I have to tell you - best shrimp and grits ever. Period. Loved the restaurant. Ate there twice during a week long business trip. Fabulous food, outstanding service and the wine by the glass was great. I was by myself so I didn't have a bottle. I had a special duck dish the... More

Wonderful service and great food. Doesn't look very appealing from the outside but is small, cozy & simple on the inside.

Once seated in the restaurant, a nearby enthusiastic diner recommended the Lobster Brie Mac-n-Cheese. WOW! So glad he did. We ordered it as an appetizer to share, and it was WONDERFUL! The artichoke soup is a recipe they've been serving for 27 years. If you like artichokes, you will love it. I ordered the pork tenderloin with mushroom risotto and... More
