Mid priced (teens to 20s for supper), casual chic, small unprepossessing exterior. Bar is very small. Fantastic grilled port tenderloin with mushroom risotto.

For the 3 days prior to going to the Midtown Cafe I would look out the window from my hotel room and see it across the street and didn't think of ever going to it, but on the day of our check out we had some time before we needed to be at the airport. We decided to walk over... More

My wife and I are regular patrons for dinner at Midtown Cafe which is our favorite restaurant in Nashville. It is consistently excellent in all aspects. Highly recommended for both visitors to Nashville as well as locals looking to rediscover great cuisine in midtown Nashville.

This is a great little restaurant in West End. The food here is always amazing, whether lunch or dinner. I've got to admit I rarely stray from the grilled trout with spinach cream sauce but the crab cakes are to die for. Also the mushroom risotto is spot on. The service is always great and the staff always friendly. Be... More

Solo lunch while hubs was in meetings. They have daily specials, so I got chicken & dressing that was very good! I was a bit early & the waitress was having lunch at the bar chatting with co-workers when I walked in. I don't know about you, but I take that as a very good sign!!! Thumbs up & I... More

What a hidden treasure. Midtown Cafe is a small restaurant located a mile or so from downtown Nashville. We were staying around the corner and wanted something close to the hotel - boy were we lucky to have chosen this place. The food was amazing - one of the best meals we have had in a restaurant! We started with... More

We went to Midtown prior to a TPAC show with friends. I had no idea Midtown does this cool little shuttle to TPAC and the symphony. Just valet, eat and ride then come back to your car. COOL. But what keeps me coming back is the food! We had a party of 14 and one waitress. GROAN. But they were... More

The Midtown Café is a nice place a mile or two from downtown Nashville. The atmosphere is not outstanding, it's ok. The service and the food, however, is outstanding. We were there on a Wednesday night, so we did not have a problem getting in without a reservation. I had the Roasted Pork Tenderloin, with Asparagus and Risotto. It was... More

We ate there for lunch and loved it so much we brought two more couples with us that night for dinner. They all raved about their food! I had deelish crab cakes. Salmon was great...Osco Bosca was raved about.. Chicken Piccate was divine. I wanted to order the chicken croquettes again for dinner that I had for lunch, but they... More

Went Tuesday night with some work colleagues. There was no wait for a table. The menu had a lot of great choices including a variety of tasting menus. (Not a variety of items, but you can choose if you want 2-3-5 courses with or without wine pairings.) They had a lot of great wines by the glass. Ordered the salmon... More
