Don't bother

After two great, great meals at The Farmhouse and Silo, we opted for an old standby... Morton's. The food was typical, not great, not bad. Except for the souffle which tasted like nothing but sweetened scrambled eggs. But what makes Morton's in Nashville so unappealing is the space. It's like... read more

High-end food and drink. My friend and I visit here about each trip I make to Nashville to visit. I'm never disappointed with the bartenders' drinks and service.

We went to Morton’s Steakhouse in November 2014. The men in the group had the steaks, which they said were excellent. The ladies had chicken that was nicely prepared and presented. The service was good, the waitress very personable and attentive. My complaint is that for being a high end restaurant, where you pay $50.00 for a steak, I had... More

We visited Morton's on Saturday evening, January 10th, having made reservations ahead. We arrived a few minutes early, expecting to have to wait in the bar until our table was ready. Unlike so many restaurants which hustle you into the bar whether your table is ready or not, the host took us directly to our table with no delay. This... More

I'm not much on chains and usually find local places when traveling, but this was our third time at Morton's in Nashville. We went their the first time because it was so close to Broadway and the Ryman. Steaks and drinks have always been great and its easy to grab a seat by the bar and have a view out... More

Had anniversary dinner at Mortons. We both had a mixed grill special that included salad, veggie and dessert. Filet migons were cooked to perfection and melt in your mouth. I had shrimp alexander and he had scallops and both were great. Mac and cheese with bacon is addictive. Creamed spinach was not as warm as I would have liked but... More

We ate at Mortons while in Nashville visiting friends. We enjoyed an assortment of appetizers that were all excellent. My filet was outstanding. We shared several side dishes and they were good as well. We wrapped up up with a chocolate cake and fudge concoction that was only okay. We took a piece of carrot cake with us. It was... More

My wife and I have eaten at Morton's (not in Nashville) many times over the years, in many places and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. Not the case at this place. We had made reservations and had to wait ~ 10 minutes after our time to be seated. The server was very good but the food was less than stellar.... More

We went here for dinner while attending a conference nearby. We could walk here from our hotel. Food and service was average for a chain restaurant, but we believed it was also overpriced for the portions and taste.

My wife and I went to Morton's Steak House for our birthday. The service was outstanding. Once we were seated, we ordered our drinks. The Manhattan was one of the best (second to the blueberry Manhattan at Jack Daniels restaurant.) When we were presented our menu, it had our NAMES ON IT. IT also stated happy birthday. It was impressive.... More
