Exquisite cuisine and impeccable service prepared and served in the tradition of the oldest and most highly respected fine dining restaurants. The rating of this splendid restaurant matches that of the hotel where it is housed: 5 stars.

The service was impeccable and the food was excellent. The portions were a bit smaller for the cost but everything was delicious. I had the pork dish and my friend had the fillet. We shared the mac and cheese (excellent) and the brussels sprouts. The atmosphere was beautiful as well.

We dined here since we were tired (late check-in) and had a $100 credit. For those reasons I'd recommend it. The service was knowledgable and expedient. The food is comparable to other fine hotel restaurants. There are better place in town to dine at. But if you don't want to drive and just want to relax with a drink then... More

I had lunch and dinner on the same day here - it's a long story. Lunch was better. Their famous creamy onion soup is very good. It has bacon bits and a small wedge of a sandwich with goat cheese (I believe) instead of croutons or toast. Very nice presentation and flavor. The pimento cheese and fried green tomato sand... More

Had dinner here after catching a show at the TPAC. Started with drinks at the bar, dirty martini for me and lemon drop martini for my date. Both very good and neither diluted. Appetizer was a farmer's salad. Nice mix of greens and vinaigrette dressing. Main course was the Pork fixed 2 ways. In this case, a piece of pork... More

During our recent stay in Nashville, TN we ate twice at the Capitol Grille on the lower level of The Hermitage Hotel. The experience was delightful and we’d like to write a special shout out to Ian. Ian was our server for our dinner. He truly made our experience special and we enjoyed conversing with him in between his duties.... More

Excellent service at this restaurant. The French onion bisque was outstanding. The décor is beautiful. No complaints at all.

We ate here before going to TPAC. It was a splurge for us and was definitely worth it. It is located inside the Hermitage hotel and you should plan to get there early and check out this beautiful old building. The wait-staff was very attentive and made us feel welcome. The food was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant for... More

I've eaten at the Capitol Grille three times: two dinner, one lunch. It is conveniently located near the Performing Arts Center and our choice for before show fare. They meet your timing to make the show. Excellent food, good service, beautiful decor. So, one spilled soup on a table mate dropped the rating. Partle because of the rushed feeling others... More
