Stopped here for lunch on the way out of Nashville. This was on my to eat list, not to be missed. The onion bisque was sooo good that I am dreaming of it now. I had the flank steak salad, but was not as happy with that choice. The greens were soggy. My husband loved his hamburger and fries. The... More

They have their own farm fresh ingredients...great place for breakfast in a classic hotel. We had omelet and an "American Breakfast" as part of the hotel package. Recommend their home made biscuits!

The entire dinner was extraordinary. We ordered onion bisque (incredibly rich and smooth), tomato salad, scallops, lamb, and the best gourmet burgers ever tasted. Pear cocktails were terrific. And the room is gorgeous. This is a must-do experience.

A good friend suggested we visit the men's restroom at the Hermitage Hotel, and while we thought that was strange, we went ahead and booked dinner reservations at the Capitol Grill in the bottom of the Hermitage. More on that later, but first dinner. Drinks were well mixed not just crafted by a mustachioed hipster which seems to be the... More

Tired from a long day of driving and sightseeing, after getting settled into our room, we called down to the Capital Grille to see if they had any openings for dinner. They said if we came down within 10 minutes they could seat us. Great! After freshening up, we headed down. Cocktails, appetizers, and bread basket were all good. What... More

Classy place... stellar service from staff who didn't need to refer to notes or write anything down but didn't miss a beat. Great menu, interesting flavors & presentation. Didn't break the bank, either. First rate dinner! Thanks!

Upon entering The Hermitage we were greeted by the sounds of a bluegrass band playing for a private party. A grand entrance for some fancied up Southern food! The dining room is well-decorated and mildly lit, creating a nice ambience for the meal. Photos of Nashville landmarks surround you. Our waiter was Roncie who provided great service as well as... Our experiences here for both breakfast and dinner were exceptional. The waitstaff were helpful, professional, and attentive. The menu was excellent and accommodating to my vegetarian needs. Every bite from appetizer to desert was scrumptious. Also the wine selection was stellar. This is one of the best dining experiences in Tennessee.

Slow service and just ok food for breakfast. Though the "socks" sausage was spectacular. Eggs were overcooked and it took forever.

The food and service were excellent. The restaurant is downstairs in the Hermitage Hotel, which is a nice facility. There is an entrance from the street, so you don't have to go into the hotel lobby. The style is a little more formal than many others in Nashville, but not fancy. The food is fresh, well-prepared, and delicious! Many of... More
