Located in the historic Hermitage Hotel, this restaurant is among the best places to dine in Nashville. Located across the street from the fantastic Tennessee Performing Arts Center, it is also a great place to have a nice dinner before walking across the street to attend a show. The restaurant's menu is a surprise in itself with some very unique... More

One can always count on pretty good food at a Capitol Grill. In Nashville we were staying at the Hermitage Hotel which houses The Grill, so we stopped in our first night. The onion bisque was fantastic (came back and had it again for lunch), the farm salad was fresh and delicious, and our entrees (trout and quail) were equally... More

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Service was just right. Coffee was spot on. My son's pancakes were amazing with a salty sweet almost pretzel flavor. My husband had an omelet with grits. The omelet was an omelet but the grits were sublime. So creamy. My other son had a pastry plate with a side of sausage. He said it... More

This restaurant has it's own farm and herd of cattle for meat. Thought it was part of the chain but this restaurant had this name first. Very well prepared, fresh food. I had their aged steak which was extremely tender and flavorful. Surprisingly, my wife's meal of trout was very good also. Good selection of wines too. Make some time... More

Ate breakfast here one morning since we were staying at the hotel. The food was only average - and service sub-par. I asked twice for the toast that I requested with my omelet, but never received it. When the server brought the bill, he did not even remember that he had never brought it!

My main complaint was that we arrived 15 minutes earlier than our reservation time. The restaurant was mostly empty, but they claimed our table was not ready. We waited there for 15 minutes, no one left or entered during those 15 minutes, but somehow our table magically appeared at the exact time of our reservation. I hate that! The Onion... More

two of us had very good service. Menu lackluster. Endangered sword fish available, as was beef, lamb, pork, in standard styles. No short ribs, or excitement. Expensive wine list. Only one Malbec available, which was mediocre. Lamb loin was without lamb flavor. Quail was lame, but stuffing pretty good. Dessert was the same. They do have ice cream, again not... More

My husband and I went for a romantic dinner... The service and atmosphere were absolutely outstanding. My filet was delicious, the onion bisque was excellent, and the desserts were top-notch. We both agreed that my husband's Ribeye was nothing better than a Logan's or Outback steak... it was a fairly tough piece of meat. Be warned: the prices are ridiculously... More

Three of us went for a celebration dinner, two birthdays and an anniversary (all within 2 weeks)..The waitress was outstanding, a real delightful woman and always so pleasant from beginning to end. Her assistant from Slovakia was a very professional young lady. The prices are very high and the food was just OK, nothing special. I had a dish with... More
