Really different delicious food!

This was my second visit to the Capitol Grille. My friend and I split the onion soup and it is a must have if you go. She had the burger which would satisfy even my 14 year old and I had the Corn Dumplings with cabbage, broccoli and shiitake mushrooms, very very yummy! And the signature drink... read more

The Capitol Grille is a lunchtime lobbyist and legislator hangout in the elegance of the 5 star historic Hermitage (pronounced the "H" and forget any french pronounciation) hotel. I'm sure it has a wonderful dinner, which I only experienced by the menu, but I did have lunch there with some, yes lobbyists. First, it's a beautiful dining room. The plush... More

Located in the Hermitage Hotel, Capitol Grille (not to be confused with chain of Steakhouses) has its own farm that provides many items to the menu. Our server, Rancie, was top notch and probably the best thing about our experience. He knew where all the items on the menu where sourced from and was great with the wine list as... More

We had a drink at the Oak bar before sitting. It was nice, small. Reasonably priced drinks. Food was very good. We started with the onion soup--which is a creamy, sweet soup and excellent and the pork belly over grits. The pork belly just melts in your mouth. For dinner we had a filet and mussels with a side of... More

We dined here with a large party divided between two tables. Our server was initially a little frazzled because of the two groups talking back and forth to each other, but once the dinner service got underway, she was very professional. I started my meal with the onion bisque, which was delicious, and worth every calorie. At her recommendation, I... More

We ate here on our first night in Nashville. The SEC Championship was in town...which explained why the hotel prices were so high! The city was a sea of blue as Kentucky fans flooded the streets and restaurants and bars. It was fun! We ended up renting a gorgeous house! We went to the bar for some drinks in the... More

This was my first time to visit Nashville, and my son and I had a great meal at this state's Capitol Grille. Although not as large as the one in Washington, DC, this restaurant had a very nice selection of appetizers, main courses, and wine. I had a very tasty Short Rib, and I'm glad we chose to eat there.... More

I ate breakfast one morning during my stay at The Hermitage Hotel. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but was very disappointed. The service was not good at all. The server did not come to serve our table for around 10 minutes. We finally asked the hostess, and she got him to come and take our order. When we... More
