The restaurant - which looks more like a diner is known to the locals as the best burger place. We walked in from the Holiday Inn Vanderbilt and found a place to sit down. I like the concept - sit where you like. Our waitress Nychole took our order quickly, recommended a few things, and brought us our drinks. The... more

My husband's favorite food is the burger. When looking for a lunch, it was suggested that we try Rotier's. Let me tell you...they were right. All 5 of us agreed that this place is a hidden gem. It is very crowded, small, and old. But once you are seated and get your food, it is incredible. My husband and adult... more

Girlfriend wanted a good homemade burger. Found it at Rotier's. Tired of the fast food, and expensive burgers? Rotier's cooks it right. Greasy, thick and on your choice of bread at a reasonable price. Our waitress was excellent but I did noticed a bit of unprofessionalism in the other employees. Overall good experiences and will go back. more

waited forever for a table.. almost an hour. food was tepid and they ran out of many items. the food tasted as if it had been sitting out for a long time.. couldn't cut into the broccoli. very, very disappointed. especially because we brought in someone from out of town. service was sorry as well. not going back. more

I had heard that Rotier’s is a legendary Nashville eatery so I was very excited for my first visit. On the outside, this place looks like you have a better chance of getting hepatitis than a good meal. But it is one of those local gem restaurants that unfortunately are becoming hard to find. Like all the reviews before this... more

Very good burgers and typical diner fare. Jimmy Buffett used to eat here a lot when he lived in Nashville. Can get crowded on weekends. more

My husband and I stopped here while we were on vacation and found Rotier's to be a nice "hole-in-the-wall." The prices were great. We weren't too hungry so we split a burger, fries, and milkshake, and it was plenty of food! The building itself didn't have much character, it was just older....clean though. more

My husband and I had a great meal at Rotiers tonight. I had a vegetable plate with two of the night's specials - hash brown casserole and sweet potatoes; along with green beans. I could seriously have eaten my weight in that sweet potato dish and hash brown casserole. To die for. My husband loved his burger, and his onion... more

Enjoyed the simple. local atmosphere - it never would be confused with a chain or tourist restaurant. Chesseburger on french bread was very good. Hotel clerk told us that the story is that it is the basis for Jimmy Buffett's "Cheeseburger in Paradise." This is a no frills, neighborhood joint. You'll be dissapointed if you expect more. more

The cheeseburger on french bread was great. Save your money on the fried pickles though. Service was not as good as the food, but there was a sweet lady at the register. more
