Looks Like a Hole in the Wall - It is a Whole Lot Better Than That!

From the outside, Rotier's looks like a hole in the wall. It looks the same once you go inside. But do not judge the book by its cover. This little joint has great food, great drinks and great atmosphere. Price is right too.

I met friends passing through town at Rotier's, my first visit to this Nashville tradition. They had three kids in tow who chose Rotier's based on their online research. We seated ourselves at a large corner booth and were given menus fairly quickly. The menu is simple but multiple options for the signature burgers made our six orders both more... More

We had a decent meal here for breakfast...the waitstaff are nice but the place has a beer soaked/grimy feel to it...so be prepared. The breakfast was so-so and the french bread burger (their specialty) was not bad- but certainly not the best burger I have tasted.

We were staying across the road at the Hampton, having been into Downtown earlier we didn't quite feel like turning in yet. Not really realising that most of the suburb bars would close around 10-11, we though one for the road would finish the evening off nicely. Not so easy and not wanting to walk around a strange town at... More

We visited here after a walk in Centennial Park, and really enjoyed it. Our service was great and we got our food quickly. The atmosphere is laid back and lively. Our food was excellent. Fantastic cheeseburgers make this place worth visiting!!! I also had the sweet potato fries and they were very good as well. I definitely recommend Rotier's.

We enjoyed a famous Rotier's burger after a quick walk around Vanderbilt and Centennial Park. Enjoyed the charm and all the old photos on the wall.

Staying at the Marriot Vanderbilt having just arrived and needed some non hotel food. Walked round on my own to be greeted with a warm welcome. Service was really good and a cheese burger on Rye with fries was served hot and fast. Good price worth a visit if this end of town. Will go back!

Went here because someone on the plane told me to. It was good but not special. Greasy patty melts and great sweet potato fries. I hear the shakes are good. Very nice wait staff and bartenders. Very casual. Don't look for southern cooking. Maybe a good lunch! Too many great places in Nashville.

This is an awesome piece of history with great food. The BEST cheeseburger that I have ever had. Although the restaurant was very busy, the waitstaff was very apologetic and controlled the situation well. It was well worth the wait.

I was expecting more of a crusty french bread bun for their famous burger. It was still very tasty meat but a little too much bread. Fries were great. I always request mine extra crispy and they were cooked perfectly. You know its a family run operation when you walk in. The services is always better when the owners are... More
