A "bar" meets diner. Fresh onion rings with tasty remoulade dip, really good hamburger and homemade chips dipped in ranch dressing! Couldn't resist chocolate shake! Had a hard time choosing from menu offerings. The hospitals and holiday inn Vanderbilt within walking or holiday inn shuttle distance.

Rotiers will not "wow" anyone with atmosphere and circuses but the food was outstanding and well worth the visit. The restaurant, which is located very near the Vanderbilt campus, is basically an old-school (60s style) eatery that looks like it hasn't been remodeled since the LBJ administration. Its probably not ideal for a "date night" - unless you are a... More

The have neon beer signs hanging all over the walls. I had the signature french bread hamburger and home made tater chips. Now that burger wasnt "Gods greatest creation, Ill never... More

This is a gem of a place! The waitstaff is wonderful, you get the sense that all are happy to be there. Did I mention the food? Hands down the best hamburger steak I have ever had! Vegetables so good. Would love to go back next time we are in Nashville.

A friend and I visited here after a recommendation from the hotel staff nearby. We ate on a Thursday evening when it wasn't too crowded. The service was fine as was the food we had. We each got the hamburger on French bread. It is good. It's nothing incredibly wonderful nor were there any problems. It's a good hamburger on... More

Enjoyed this little diner...the burger was good and my son enjoyed his large plate of spaghetti with meat sauce. The vegetarian in the group was able to order a plate of 4 vegetable/side dishes, which she enjoyed. It is a must-visit little place!

Rotier's has been providing west Nashville with a great spot for local cuisine. The neighborhood feel and the hot spot for students to get a good meal at a good price. Burgers are the best.

I try to go here every time I'm in the area. I enjoy seeing the same staff more than once, the burgers are awesome, and it brings back happy memories of early college days.

After finding Rotier's on Tripadvisor, my wife and I decided that it was a "must try" restaurant on our list of Nashville's restaurants. We were not disappointed. From the minute you walk in, you get a great feeling from the traditional atmosphere and the true diner/local restaurant feel. We were greeted when we entered and told to sit wherever we... More

Very tasty burger in an old building that can be over looked. stumbled on the place when we were wondering around. A variety of food choices on the menu. If we are in the area we will be back to try other menu items.
