This lovely place in the area known as Germantown (which is under gentrification) was delightful. They accepted Open Table reservations so we had no wait. Service was good - food was delicious. I had a duck dish and my dining partner had salmon. We shared a cobbler with ice cream - yummy!

My husband, who is lactose intolerant, had Ahi Tuna Salad. He said it was good, but nothing to write home about. I (the vegetarian) had the Chef's Omelette with the Pepper Jack Grits. I can't remember what was in the omelette and it has only been a week since I ate there. The grits were delicious and I DO remember them.... More

I know i have reviewed this restaurant before, but this is worth another shout out. My husband and I took our son and daughter in law to Brunch on Sunday. It was their first first visit to Germantown, and our first Brunch. It was fabulous, our kids raved all day about the food. Yes it was crowded, and we had... More

We visit Germantown Café frequently, and they are consistently good. However, not so much today. The host was not friendly, the waiter was not friendly. Our food was delicious as usual, but the salads came with the meal instead of before the meal, we had to ask for bread, our drinks were never re-filled and a salad was delivered without... More

Wonderful meal, nice ambiance and varied menu. Squash fritter appetizers are a must! Our group had filet, pork medallions and duck. Each entree was delicious . We didn't get to try dome tempting desserts because we were too full!

Again and again we were told this was THE place to eat in Nashville. We made a reservation and tried it out. Folks were right! I had appetizers: French Onion soup and Fried Green Tomatoes. Both were outstanding. We also shared some sort of a cornmeal fritter that was outstanding as well. My friends had pork chops that were braised... More
