Quaint atmosphere with wonderful food

Quaint dining experience with fresh food, friendly staff, and superb cocktails. My favorite pick for a place to go in this part of Nashville.

After hearing this name come up several times around town, my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try for brunch. There wasn't a table ready so they told us to sit at the bar and wait. We desperately wanted a glass of water after walking in the Nashville heat to get there. The bartender never once smiled at... More

We took our team of 8 here for dinner this week. They had a little valet outside and some free parking in walking distance. There is a bar on one side and dinner seating on the other. We ordered appetizers, drinks, and dinner.

This is a wonderful neighborhood café worth trying out on a hot summer day. This restaurant is in the heart of historic Germantown on the north side of Nashville. It is real easy to find from the down town area. Traveling north toward the river on Broadway, make a left onto 5th Avenue North. Travel approximately 1.2 miles, crossing over... More

Have visited several times and always love this charming, romantic restaurant- but this visit was not impressive at all and actually pretty disappointing. We ordered a glass of wine and were never asked again if we wanted anything to drink. Our salads were very blah. The main entrees- salmon and my friend, a pasta, were really delicious. But we were... Anyone who has ever been to Nashville knows that Broadway is "where it's at." But just when you feeling like you're overwhelmed with the sound, the beer and the crowds, head down 5th Ave. to the Germantown Cafe for some of the best food in town. It's a subdued place with a great bar, a remarkable and dedicated staff (especially... More

Verh good food (according to belgian standards...). We tried some appetizers (green tomatos, meatballs and escargots) and all were delicious. Also the entrees (main dishes) were very Ok. Only minus is the pricing of the Wine list. We found a very drinkbare Coppola for 40 USD. Waiters are friendly and accurate and atmosphere is warm. Only airconditioning is somewhat too... More

We found this restaurant by accident, and we're so glad we did! Our table ordered the Chef's Strata, Shrimp and Grits, and Crab Cakes Benedict. It was all delicious.

I was traveling on business by myself and wanted to get away from the conference for a few hours. I found Germantown Cafe and it was perfect. The menu is small but prepared perfectly. Very friendly service, local vibe and great food. Prices were very good for the quality of food served. I will definitely go back on my next... More

Great little spot in the Historic Germantown! The mimosas are delicious and their menu is perfect - small yet delicious options and excellent pricing for food! Highly recommend Germantown Cafe - take a stroll around the beautiful neighborhood while you are there!
