We don't normally drive into Germantown, but that could change, due to the Germantown Cafe. Delicious, great atmosphere, good service, more than accommodating menu....lots of positives! I can't think of any dislikes, but I just don't give "Excellent" reviews unless the place is a super-standout. Those don't come along very often. I think anyone that tries this place would be... It was a cold night but this restaurant was so cozy and nice. The French Onion Soup was very good but very big. We all ordered the plum pork medallions and they were delicious. Nice place to go to relax and enjoy a wonderful dinner. I liked it also because it was not so loud and you could actually converse... More

Very nice dinner. Arrived a few minutes early, enjoyed a glass of wine in the bar (nice selection of $5 drinks, appetizers available), seated promptly, received drinks & menus. Shared the strudel of the day as an appetizer, had house salads w/ blue cheese vinaigrette, and bread came out nice and warm (yes, the bread is fried dough but ours... More

I love this place! Without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville (although I'm still waiting to try Etch). The place is small but has a cozy and inviting atmosphere with a great view of the city (ground-floor). The menu changes so don't expect the same things- always a good sign in a high caliber restaurant. The best... More

my wife and I had an exceptionally good meal accompanied by excellent service. Kudos to Dean, our server. A very nice menu from appetizers to desserts. My wife had the fried green tomatoes and I had the savory strudel (stuffed with spinach and cheese) for appetizers. Both were very well prepared and presented. My wife for her entree ordered the... We visited Nashville last Saturday for the first time in years. We had our oldest granddaughter with us as well as our youngest son and his new bride. I made reservations at the Germantown Cafe because of the recent reviews and because none of us like waiting. We were hoping for a pleasant atmosphere with enough variety in the menu... More

Went on Saturday mornings. Surprised at how the flavors of the foods worked together. We tried the strada, Benedicts, and omelets. All were exceptional. The potatoes are very crispy and perfect. The grits are rich and delicious. Check out the beimgets.

We visited for dinner on a Sunday night and it was pleasantly busy. This is in a cute little neighborhood a quick cab ride away from downtown. The view of downtown is beautiful and the wait staff is very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the salmon with coconut curry. It was great. Highly recommend!

While most of Nashville watched for Santa to arrive, we found this great place! Even though we were late for our reservation, we were lucky enough to get seated right away. Nice wine list with reasonable prices. I opted for Pinot Noir which after a quick glance seems to pair well with the menu. Wait staff was attentive but not... More

This is a great restaurant that looks and feels classy without breaking the bank or feeling pretentious. The servings are ample, I had food left over after tackling my stuffing stuffed pork loin with the cranberry gastric. The place looks wonderful, the cocktail selection is great and the view of the Nashville skyline is second to none. The staff is... More
