My husband and I checked out this restaurant based off of the great reviews. We had the sirloin with potatoes and asparagus. The sirloin was amazing. The potatoes weren't my fave based off of the seasoning, but my husband liked them. We also had the fried green tomatoes which were delicious and healthy tasting (Yes, healthy!) The breading was not... More

We stumbled across this cafe for brunch on Sunday. Quaint neighborhood near the Capital makes for a great setting. The interior is lofty but not stuffy. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. We had Crab Benedict that was tasty but a bit lukewarm. Call ahead and they will try to accommodate you within the half hour. Very popular place!!

I had heard about this place for years and never had been. Was excited to try it and was not disappointed. Our server was very attentive and there was always someone filling up our water and taking our plates. We loved the wonderful bread and especially enjoyed the fried green tomatoes with red pepper sauce for an appetizer. I didn't... More

Outstanding Southern restaurant in Germantown area of Nashville. Quaint neighborhood off the tourist map, but definitely worth a visit. We had an incredible Kobe steak meatloaf but with all entrees come the most amazing yeast rolls you've ever tasted. They also have a Sunday brunch. I only wish that we had been there on a Sunday. We would have undoubtably... More

Lovely lunch in a cool part of town. We had just finished the Nash Trash Tour and driven by the cafe so decided to give it a try for lunch. Nice staff and good food.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambience, just wonderful. Three courses each, one meat eater, one pescatarian, and one vegetarian, and every dish was lovely: from rich onion soup, to mac and cheese, salmon and coconut curry with risotto, steak with duck fat smashed potatoes and then the apex of the meal, key lime pie and creme brulee. A faultless evening... More

I am just getting back from an amazing dinner at The Germantown Cafe. What a wonderful gem. This was the best food we had in Nashville. Everything is creative and freshly made. As a vegetarian, there were plenty of options for me but plenty of options for meat-eaters too. The absolute best item may have been the bread that looked... More

We dined here with local friends - it was the first time for all of us. We all enjoyed our meal and the overall atmosphere of Germantown Cafe. Don't let the "cafe" in the title fool you; this is really an upper-scale hip bistro without the pretentious feel. When we arrived the bar was hopping with young professionals enjoying after... We stopped in for a cocktail and found this place to be a pleasant surprise!!! Next time we are in town, we will try out the restaurant. We would highly recommend stopping in for their Happy Hour...the staff is friendly and the sangria was delicious!!!
