This restaurant was recommended by friends and no surprise it was well worth it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Food is excellent and the perfect portion sizes. 14 of us had a wonderful dinner this past weekend at The Germantown Cafe. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. We went there on a recommendation and are sure glad we did. more

My husband and I just got back from a weekend in Nashville and are we glad we took tripadvisor's suggestion and went to Germantown Cafe. Service, menu, staff, view, location and price all excellent. I've lived in Nashville 35 years and been to the Germantown Octoberfest many times but somehow missed this wonderful spot. We had the fried green tomatoes, plum pork and green plate. All were outdtsnding and beautifully presented. When you visit Music City don't miss it. more

This was one of our favorites in Nashville. We rarely eat pork but the plum pork was amazing. It was off the tourist strip so that was a big plus as well. Highly recommend. more

I found everything about the Germantown Cafe to be wonderful. The atmosphere was pleasant but relaxed. The staff was friendly and accomodating but not intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious. I am always wary of restaurants using the word "cafe," as it is a very broad descriptive word. Drive past the Hermitage Cafe on the way to THIS Cafe, and you'll see what I mean. My wife and I visited Nashville and had reservations at the Germantown Cafe in late January 2009, and we were both very pleased with the setting, staff and the food.
