Do not skip the onion soup

We had drinks at the bar waiting on our party and the guys at the bar were really on top of things.... Onion soup may seen sort of 'normal', where every place has it, but this will not disappoint you! They had great specials, but I went with the blackened grouper and it was fantastic, but... read more

Had my first two visits to this cafe today. Lunch was so good that I brought my wife back for supper. We rarely eat in Nashville, so this was a treat...and we will be back!

This was my first visit to this cafe as I was visiting family in Nashville. The Germantown Cafe was very good. I had the Chicken Salad and it was very good but was a little bland. I sampled the French Toast and it was excellent. Parking was awful if I had to mention a downside. Not enough parking and i... More

We happened upon this neighborhood gem. No wait, attentive staff, fresh food. Crab cake sandwich is highly recommended, sister had the chicken pot pie. Found the chicken salad a little bland but still very good.

One of my bridesmaids booked a dinner for my bachelorette group at Germantown Cafe - it was awesome!!!! There were 16 of us and they gave us a private room! It was great. The waiter was amazing - worked with efficiency and ease throughout the experience. The drinks were fantastic. And my meal was delicious. Everyone in my group had... More

My wife and I spent a casual dinner at the Cafe and found low country class with a great view of the Nashville skyline. Date night or with friends, the crab cakes or pork chops are just a start of the menu. Lite and standard fare are available.

Really enjoyed this spot just outside of downtown. Revitalized neighborhood, place looks newly refurbished. Excellent brunch choices from savory to sweet. Party of 5 were all very happy with their choices. We got there around 10:45 and had no wait. Service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend for an out of the way spot for quality food.

Germantown Cafe is our default lunch place whenever we get the chance to go out for lunch during the work week. The food is fantastic and the servers can get us in and out quick. When we have out of town guests at our workplace, we make sure to bring them to this cafe.

Germantown Cafe, while reliable for a decent lunch or dinner, is really the best for brunch. The floor to ceiling windows allow for a view of the quaint Germantown neighborhood, as well as downtown Nashville. You'll do well with most things on the menu, but I'd personally opt for the French Onion soup, the pepper jack grits, and/or the steak... More
