We ate here for my son's 16th birthday. They had live performers which were great, but quite noisy. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience and our server (Ben) was awesome! I have been here a few times in the past and I would definitely recommend this place for locals and tourists. I am looking to stay at the Inn... More

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and I went to Cafe Fontanella to celebrate my birthday. We arrived around 4:30, and it was not crowded or noisy. We were greeted promptly and offered indoor or outdoor seating. With the outside temps in the 90s we opted to eat inside. Matt was our server, and he was excellent. I told him I was... More

Food was great, server (Dion) was wonderful...room was a little noisy but only because people were having a really good time! Live music was an added plus. Go on a Thursday night and see the classic cars after your meal.

Ok, here's the scoop from a local who lives in the neighborhood. The food is great, period. I would eat here three times a week, its that good. But during the dinner hours, the music is so loud, that you cannot even have a conversation with the person sitting next to you. I just watched a party of twenty, who... More

Today after golf 6 of my golfing girlfriends and I went to Fontanella for lunch. Each person ordered different selections from the menu. No one had a complaint about their mean. Our waiter was very good and attentive. He had a great personality. It was a first time for most of the group other than myself. I think they all... More

Great place to visit. More than just a restaurant. Go to Pritchards next door and taste their rums and specialty alcohols. The goo goo store is great too. When we arrived at Fontanel, we were told there was a two hour wait; we were seated in less than 40 minutes. We were there for the Boston concert so it was... More

The waitress brought us some bread so hard you couldn't even break it. She told us they were making some new bread but she took a 50 50 chance on it being soft. The food is over priced and not so tasty. There was sports on all the TVs when the one on the stage should have atleast had something... More

My wife and I bought a 'groupon' type deal for Cafe Fontanella in order to give it a try and were very pleased with the experience. We did lunch on a Sunday (during brunch hours) and were very impressed with the menu offerings. The service, food and value were all very good and we will be back!

We ate here after Michael Franti hot yoga and before the concert portion of the night. It felt great to relax in the air conditioning. Beer was cold and cheap during happy hour = $2! I had the Amico salad. It was huge and delicious! It had beautiful ripe tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Everyone adored the giant garlic bread. I... More
