What a fun, cool place. There are only a few tables (maybe 30?) and a wonderful, classic bar in the middle. The host/hostess are great about not rushing people in or out. The waiting area was packed when we first arrived, but has neat classic dark leather couches, that help set the mood for the actual bar. I think we... More

This place was beyond awesome! Drinks pricey but we'll worth it. It replicates a speakeasy back in the days of prohibition. There is no sign outside to mark the place so it could be tricky to find. We only heard about it from a local we were chatting with. Very intimate. If you use your imagination you are led into... More

Wow. Ok. So I like my drinks and I like them creative and strong. I had a fantastic evening being guided through amazing cocktail creations by the attentive and knowledgeable bartender. I am glad that I arrived early (5:15 on a Saturday) because there did end up a large line by about 7 or 8. I thought the prices were... More

Went to The Patterson House and had the best cocktail I've ever had. We only had one cocktail each before moving on to our dinner plans but we were very tempted to go back after dinner but was heading to Blue Birds. I really don't want to spread the greatness of this place because it will be to packed when... More

This hidden Nashville gem has no sign, so you have to "be in the know" as a real speakeasy should be! These incredible concoctions take time to create so just relax and enjoy the 1920's atmosphere. The menu is divided by spirits and many of them are distiller locally. All the fruits, juices and bitters are all sourced locally and... More

I had read about The Patterson House on a website which had an article called “One and Done”, which lists cities in which they recommend a particular bar and a particular cocktail – and at The Patterson House, it is one called "The Whispering Hills". Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Punt e Mes, Cynar and Campari. I love rye whiskey and Campari,... More

I loved this place. It has a 20's theme atmosphere and only serves cocktails and appetizers. There was a wait, but we'll worth it. The drinks are like nothing you'll get anywhere else and everything is good. Be brave and try one of their specialties...they will explain how to choose one. Both my drinks were to die for and my... This is an annual stop for my daughter's birthday. Drink menu is unique, I usually describe what I like and trust the bar tender. Never been disappointed! Be ready to show ID regardless of age. Make sure you also get the "donut holes" best ever! Don't miss this if you are going to Nashville.

Unexpected little gem with old world charm and exquisite cocktails. Our bartender Riley really knew her stuff, and recommended drinks for both of us that weren't even on the menu - and they were perfect. A must visit!

The cocktails here are just fabulous. The waiters are super patient and helpful in making recommendations based on your likes and dislikes. The mixologists are fun to watch. They don't use mixers here- everything is fresh and delicious. Such a neat place - a tad loud for conversation but such a great experience. Go at 5 or 5:30 for no... More
