Been to Mexico several times, and this is as close to what we ate there that I've eaten in a long time. We tried each of the taco's, there were two of us, and hard to pick a favorite. The wait to get to the counter was almost 20 min, but realized that it was well worth it. Can't wait... More

Not a big fan of Mexican food in general, I was very impressed by the quality of Mas Tacos. Not fancy but inventive and authentic. Can't wait to go back!

I ate at Mas Tacos yesterday for the first time at the suggestion of some friends who eat there regularly. I discovered a quinoa and sweet potato taco that was full of delicious flavors. I wasn't sure if I should order 1 or 2 tacos, so I ordered 1 taco and got fried plantains with black beans and onions on... More

This is definitely a hipster joint made for the age of Internet. We pulled up to a line out the door for a weekend lunch. By the time we reached the counter it had been a half hour wait. But boy was it worth it! We had each of the tacos, not the vegetarian one, tortilla soup, and pineapple cilantro... More

This is a local favorite but the day we went the food was just ok. Probably deserves another try considering the reputation.

I've visited Acapulco, Mexico and this is how I remember the food. Highly recommended if you'd like to experience authentic Mexican this side of the border. As other reviewers have mentioned, be prepared to pay cash. Carpooling is also advised if you have a larger party as parking can be a bit of a challenge. Definitely worth it, however.

I was very skeptical when I went to meet a friend at this place. I had heard such rave reviews I was expecting something a little more showy. But they let the food speak for themselves! For once things were priced very fairly and not over charging just because they could! The Aqua Fresca drinks are delicious! (cilantro and pineapple... More

We saw the reviews and made the short drive from downtown to east Nashville.... and we were very glad we did! The menu is simple ~ homemade tacos , soups, black beans, plantains and cheesy grilled corn to name a few! The food was excellent and so flavorful! Very authentic and worth the trip! Try the Pineapple drink too!

Saw the reviews online and on DDD so I had to check it out. True to the reviews, the place is very small and very busy. The food was really good, but we didn't care for the café con leche at all. The tacos were really good as were the black beans, plantains and corn. I would definitely go back.
