So much food, so little place to put it!

I was here in November, for Thanksgiving and was absolutely astonished how delicious EVERYTHING was. On a recent visit, we brought friends back for an early lunch on our way back out of town to go home. Once again, hit it out of the park. There's so much variety and SO. MUCH. OF. Meet a gal that I'd not seen since high school and it was a great place to meet. Both of our spouses got to meet everyone too and enjoy a leisurely and enjoyable meal. Interesting history to the place too , which we all liked. Good food, good atmosphere. Be sure to go upstairs too and view the rooms there.

If you enjoy breakfast, this is the place to go. We were seated immediately. The service was great. Though breakfast is not a meal I relish, the food was abundant and good and the flavors were rich. The bacon was clumped together. Sausage was spicy and well done. Ham was in pineapple. Chicken was lightly breaded and fried, not at... More

We went for lunch. Food was good. Due to the weather it wasn't crowded. We were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive.

Perfect choice for lunch on way to airport, two miles from BNA. Quaint manor house with antiques. Wonderful staff, excellent food, true home cooking with best fried chicken ever! Plenty of choices and more keeps coming. Not one thing I didn't like and I am picky. Served family style, fun to meet others while dining, our table was all locals,... More

This came highly recommended! The food was fantastic....best fried chicken I think I have ever eaten. The hospitality A+ and the server A+ as well. This Manor was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I only wished I had taken pics before we went in as it was dark when we came out. I highly recommend this restaurant!

There is a fixed menu that is served family style at a table you share with others. You can eat as much as you wish. A pre-selected dessert is served at the end. Water, sweet tea and lemonade are included. Cost is about $20 per person. Staff was very friendly. The building is a quaint vintage piece of architecture in... More

This is a family style restaurant. They bring out the food and you pass it around to everyone else at the table. We sat with two nice couples and this made the dining experience more enjoyable. The food was good, but not great (except for the fried chicken which was very good). Good enough to go there again but not... More

This place is what you hope for in a country cooking spot. I was not sure about the pass the plate concept at first but it seems to work well. The best thing was the BBQ chicken. No one really ate it but me because most were focused on the fried chicken, but do not pass on the BBQ chicken... More

( Ref: Bad Timing & Wrong Restaurant, Monell’s Dining & Catering Germantown Reviewed 7 January 2015) Visited the Manor Tuesday 11:15 Feb 27 for lunch, a party of 3. Plenty of free and very safe off street shaded parking close to handy cap ramp. As we walked into the very well lighted beautiful lobby (no need to bring a roach... More
