Description: We decided to open our first full-size scoop shop in Nashville in June...
We decided to open our first full-size scoop shop in Nashville in June, 2011 in the East Nashville neighborhood for many reasons, but mainly because the place reminded us so much of our scrappy roots. East Nashville, home to cyclists and pedestrians, families and urban farmers, artists and musicians of all stripes, and do-it-yourself bar and restaurant owners, is one of our favorites places in the country. Since we've been in East Nashville, we've been able to cultivate partnerships with folks such as Don Henry, who grows strawberries for us to make the perennial favorite Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk, as well as the good people at Yazoo Brewing Company, who supplies Yazoo Sue porter for the year-round ice cream Yazoo Sue with Rosemary Bar Nuts. There's a fantastic creative community and overall vibe throughout Nashville-especially in East Nashville.

Unique flavors of ice cream!

I liked the unique flavors of ice cream. The staff was very helpful. A little overpriced, but glad I finally got to visit this place!

awesome ice cream, unusual flavors...lavendar berry, brandy pecan. Great deal "small" ice cream includes 2 scoops, may choose two flavors...good since it's hard to decide

I went to hillsboro village to give this a try. I found a huge line around the corner and said to myself: this better be decent. Well, luckily the line was fast and the server very nice, because this is the most overpriced, tasteless ice cream you're ver going to get. I tasted sweet cream and it tasted nothing and... More

We love Jeni's ice cream. Very interesting flavors. Staff always friendly and let's you sample. The flavors are not standard - run of the mill - so don't be expecting vanilla and chocolate. If you are at all willing to step outside the box, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

I have been here once before but this time it was the final stop for my date. We both had the raspberry sorbet. I've read reviews about the quality of their ice cream and it did not disappoint. The people that worked there were pretty young but they were very professional and helpful.

Nothing special. $8.50 sundae had a disgustingly disproportionate amount of fudge. Whole thing was spilling over the side of the undersized cup which made it difficult to eat. First and last time at Jeni's; but to be fair, it was edible and I ate about half of it before throwing it away.

They had a cute atmosphere and free samples which was nice. It was delicious ice cream, but I would say it is a bit overpriced..

I love everything about this place! Great flavors, endless samples, nice people. Fav flavors include buckeye state and their version of salted caramel.

People in Nashville are wild about Jeni's. I had some 3 days ago at their new shop on 21st Ave S in Hillsboro Village. To be honest, I don't quite see what all the fuss is about. It tastes good. Better than Baskin Robbins? No. Better than Sweet Cece's Frozen yoghurt (a local Nashville establishment)? No. Better than Graeter's ice... More

Jenni's has great ice cream. They tend to have some really exotic flavors. If you are going with really young picky eaters, it might be a problem. It really is splendid ice cream!
