In Nashville on a Friday night - too late to get a reservation anywhere - then we saw the sign for the Back Alley Diner. It was quiet, uncrowded, and the service was good. We just had appetizers. My jalapeno's were great. Great spot to stop and get a bite..

Myself and some friends went out based on reviews. The food was not great quality. Store bought chicken in the salad, not fresh salad, not a big array of choices for limited diets. The kettle chips were yummy though and the service was excellent. It just wasn't my kind of place.

We found this place on TripAdvisor. It was a hole-in-the-wall type place but the food was good and the building had plenty of old charm.

The best thing we like about this bar was it was off the beaten path. It's a no-nonsense place serving just bar food, but doing it really well. We went there for lunch twice - not waiting which is hard to find in Nashville on the weekend. We had the pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork quesadillia, wings and the white... More

We wanted a new and different resturant. We found it! I will definitely be going back. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is nice, the food is good and the prizes are reasonable.

Nice change from Broadway. Great burger and even better fries! Highly recommend. If you can't find it, just ask a local.

Despite being a little family-unfriendly (but its technically a bar), B.A.D. served us a great lunch with such character and vision. Make sure to try the bleu cheese burger and enjoy some crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside French fries.

Second time been here, very good bar food with friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Had burger with onion rings and both were very good. Located couple of blocks off busy Broadway so it was not too crowded as walked right in and got seated. Had live music of two men. Kinf of folksy and soft rock, nothing special. Will definitely go again.

We were there on a Friday night with my mother-i-law (who is in a wheel chair). Most of the other places had 2 hour waits, so we decided to try Back Alley Diner. It wasn't really wheel-chair friendly, but the staff quickly helped us maneuver the stairs and carried the wheel chair for us. Decor is eclectic with local art.... More

We had the best time at Back Alley Diner! Had a party of 7 girls in the loft area. An awesome way to enjoy live music and have a more personal experience while in Nashville. The band even played songs specifically for our bachelorette, which you just can't get at a big chain restaurant. We highly recommend B.A.D. for a... More
