The best thing we like about this bar was it was off the beaten path. It's a no-nonsense place serving just bar food, but doing it really well. We went there for lunch twice - not waiting which is hard to find in Nashville on the weekend. We had the pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork quesadillia, wings and the white... More

We wanted a new and different resturant. We found it! I will definitely be going back. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is nice, the food is good and the prizes are reasonable.

Nice change from Broadway. Great burger and even better fries! Highly recommend. If you can't find it, just ask a local.

Despite being a little family-unfriendly (but its technically a bar), B.A.D. served us a great lunch with such character and vision. Make sure to try the bleu cheese burger and enjoy some crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside French fries.

Second time been here, very good bar food with friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Had burger with onion rings and both were very good. Located couple of blocks off busy Broadway so it was not too crowded as walked right in and got seated. Had live music of two men. Kinf of folksy and soft rock, nothing special. Will definitely go again.

We were there on a Friday night with my mother-i-law (who is in a wheel chair). Most of the other places had 2 hour waits, so we decided to try Back Alley Diner. It wasn't really wheel-chair friendly, but the staff quickly helped us maneuver the stairs and carried the wheel chair for us. Decor is eclectic with local art.... More

We had the best time at Back Alley Diner! Had a party of 7 girls in the loft area. An awesome way to enjoy live music and have a more personal experience while in Nashville. The band even played songs specifically for our bachelorette, which you just can't get at a big chain restaurant. We highly recommend B.A.D. for a... More

If you need to get away from the crowds and the madness, away from the cheesy tourist shops and the rest of the over-the-top that Nashville is, sneak off to Back Alley. We were in on a Saturday night, and the music was amazing (also not country, a bonus for me) and the food and the beer selection were superb.

The concierge at our hotel recommended we go here for some good quick food and good service. I’m glad we listened to her because this place was exactly what we were looking for. BAD is a place were the locals of downtown Nashville hang, as we were told, and even being from outta town the bartender still made us feel... More

I work downtown Nashville and come here weekly. Rarely ever a wait and the service is also great! Lots of good choices on the menu, you can be BAD and have a delicious burger or be healthy and have a large salad, either way it’s GOOD food! I have brought many co-workers here and they love it! Definitely a hidden... More
