The Gaylord Opryland Hotel has many restaurants. However, most of them are overpriced or they have a long wait around dinner time. The Solario was the only one that could seat us in under 10 minutes. With two children under age 6, it was the best choice. The chips and salsa were good, but the chips at the bottom were... More

Excellent food! The stacked enchiladas were perfect. Service was good too. Pricing reasonable for the location.

Beautiful location in the Opryland Hotel, and if they can get you in because there is a wait everywhere else, then take it. Good Mexican food, but nothing special. Nice service and atmossphere, average guacamole, good tacos and enchiladas. We would have been less than charmed, but since everything else was so full with long waiting lists, we were glad... More

Went to Solario before christmas show. Guacamole was average. Margaritas very good. Prices seemed reasonable. Good salad and fish tacos. Only complaint was that salad arrived before we finished appetizer. Entree arrived before we started the salad. :( We prefer a more relaxed meal, not rushing through.

Our group of 7 had dinner before attending the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular show. We all had the family style taco buffet special. It was very tasty. Best margaritas ever! Lovely server as well.

very long wait, very slow service. Maybe average to a bit lower food wise. Not many options in this hotel

Had dinner with my friends at Solario after checking out the awesome Christmas display at Opryland. For starters, we had the Classic Queso'd ($8) - warm flour tortillas with a yummy cheese dip and traditional salsa. Love, love, love those chips! They were perfectly warm, perfectly crunchy and perfectly seasoned! They also had a salsa bar with a myriad of... More

The food quality was excellent, slow roasted beef and pork in our burritos, very hearty and tender. We enjoyed sampling a variety of complimentary salsas with our chips. Whew! Got a head sweat on a couple of them.

Being from So. Cal. I am skeptical about the quality of Mexican food from states and cities not close to the Mexican border, however, I was pleasantly surprised. This food was fantastic! If you go to Nashville, stay in the Opryland Resort and eat at Solario. You won't be disappointed.

As mentioned in my review of the hotel, the service was terrible. The environment was pretty good, the drinks and food were pretty good but that was it. Its fairly expensive and the service was far below par. Our server never smiled, seemed to not care at all about us and took our food away as we were eating it.... More
