Go there for lunch failry regularly. It is great food and you get your moneys worth. One of the best hamburgers that I have ever had. Hot dogs are great also. Place usually stays fairly busy with the location during the lunchtime when i have visited. They also cater. Open from 11am to 10pm, 7 days a week. They also... More

My friends and I had lunch here for the second time and it was even better than the first. I had the barnyard dog n tots and it was soooo good! Every time I visit Nashville I will be going here. It is in a very nice area with shopping and the atmosphere is cool. The service is quick and... More

My daughter and I love eating a variety of cuisines and soul food is one of our favorites. We recently tried a small mom and pop place called Meridian Street Café. We of course had fried chicken, Mac and cheese and greens and .... Fried pork chops. Uuuuummmm yummy. It took a few minutes to get our food but it... More

You'll find this place in an old converted house just south of campus. Despite the meek, unassuming facade, it has lots of atmosphere and character inside. The decor is a bit haphazard, but I liked it. There is also a large outdoor patio that I'm sure plays well with the nearby coeds. I ordered exactly what I came for: The... More

Over the last few years I have noticed a shift in fun places to eat, considerably in the Hotdog arena. My daughter is a hotdog aficionado but me, not so much. She invited me out for Sunday lunch and I went along reluctantly but I love spending time with my daughter and her family. I loved the place immediately with... More

Our second trip to this funky, fun, cool little place. It's situated in what appears to be an old house. Great college town atmosphere. Decorated with posters, tin signs, etc. When you look around you see something different each time. Have I mentioned the food? The hog dogs are really, really great. Big, plump, and super flavor. Usually steamed, they... More

Love these hotdogs. I went to school at Belmont which is right around the corner from the Dog. Heading over their between breaks in my classes was a weekly routine. Love the classic hot dog and the porch is great all summer and fall. Classic Nashville restaurant.

I had the Caroline and my friend had one with celery. Excellent! The onion rings are great and the service was speedy even at lunch in downtown Nashville. The outside seating area is perfect for a warm day when ya just got a taste for a good grilled dog.
