Best dog and fries in Nashville

I almost always get the classic chili dog and it's wonderful. I got the Chicago and it too was terrific but I'm from Texas. The fries are the best around.

This is now my favorite restaurant in Nashville. Great food (vegetarian friendly!), friendly service, and outdoor seating! The tater tots are amazing especially dipped into the sriracha!

Fun neighborhood restaurant with lots of hot dog options. The tater tots are so crispy and crunchy, I could eat them for days. Bottle and can beer available. The staff was super helpful explaining a few of the dog variations and answering our first-timers questions (it's a 1/4 lb hot dog by the way). Environment is very laid back with... More

Went for a lunch visit because it was convenient. I thought "Eh. It's a hot dog. Can't be too exciting". It was surprisingly tasty. Service was great, environment was pleasant.

The Dog makes some great lunch fare. They do the traditional style dogs very well, and offer some wacky dogs that are delicious. Watch for the specials, if they are Asian inspired they are delicious. The fries, tots, and fried jalapeños are all very good. They also have a good selection of bottled and canned beer. Be weary of parking,... More

This place has some innovative hot dogs (like Cori's), but they have a patio that is really pleasant during the day. Not sure I would go back for the hot dogs, but I'd go back for a beer on the porch.

Found this on Yelp while visiting Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Great atmosphere. I had a burrito dog (guac, pico, etc. inside a torilla), which was unusual but very good. Might be a tad expensive but would highly recommend.

Visit this clean, modern, efficient, friendly neighborhood hot dog spot near Vanderbilt in historic Hillsboro Village and you won't be disappointed. Pretty much any kind of dog you'd want--except for possibly the Coneys of Upstate New York--can be had with all the trimmings: German, Chicago, slaw dog, brat, BBQ, original, turkey. All good. The prices are quite reasonable (check out... More
