This place is so understated we could not immediately find it even when GPS said "you have reached your destination." The place is very small so reservations would seem to be a must. The food, while pricey, was very good and beautifully presented. The food is complimented by a professional wait staff. Having said that, shabby chic can go too... More

We were two couples having dinner at the Silly Goose an evening in July. The service was very good, and the food heavenly. There were good vegetarian alternatives. Prices were a bit high, but not unreasonable. We had some sangria, which I thought was too heavy on the peach. The basil lemonade on the other hand was very good. The... More

As you walk in you realize this is not your normal run of the mill restaurant. It's small with limited seating BUT the food makes up for what it lacks. The drinks alone were refreshing! The fresh basil lemonade was addicting. We could not get enough of it. I ordered the bird (grilled chicken breast, sun-dried tomato, avocado, bacon, peppered goat... More

Novel uses of herbs is the feature that makes the Silly Goose different. This is a farm to table place that uses mixtures of herbs to delight the palate. Who would expect almonds & craisins on a turkey wrap? Or basil in your lemonade? The couscous was to die for. The chef is a treasure! When we went, the place... More

Your typical East Nashville, hipster, shabby-chic sandwich shop. Tasty, good food but I wish the prices would better reflex what is offered. $10 for a turkey wrap that had more “other ingredients than turkey? Though the herbed couscous was delicious, not really what I want with a sandwich. I think a choice of homemade potato chips would not hurt a... More

Walked in not knowing what to expect, and bam. It was great to get a fresh basil lemonade, then an amazing green salad with bread and pesto dipping sauce, to finish it up the King Kong an amazing couscous plate with curry shrimp can you say yum. And of course honey beet ice cream for desert. The place is so... More

First time eating here. My cousin came to visit and requested to eat here since she had seen the chef compete on the food network show "chopped" recently. While a little pricy, the food was very good. We had a 15 minute wait for a table as the place only holds about 45 guests. We ordered the pomegranate iced tea... More

From my last experience w the greasy pesto couscous, I didn't try that again but got the beef sandwich..it was wonderful. My family liked the turkey, the chicken, they loved it all and asked to come back here, which we did. Grandson is 18 months, each time, they gave him food and a bowl of fruit that he loved!! The... I ate here twice and the food was consistently interesting and tasty. Enough so to bring me back to try it again. Trendy, hipster type of food joint. The first time I ate here was so stomach unsettling that I almost didn't make it back again. The service was not so good. It seems the servers don't smile and are... More

Took my 3 teen aged boys for lunch. My wife and I are still irritated about spending $100 for lunch that's was sadly unimpressive. It tries to come off as a hipster kind of joint but it's just a low budget feeling Fad Food place with food that is just not tasty! Wish we had gone to the hole in... More
