I came here on my own because of a local's recommendation and had a wonderful meal. My waiter, Brian, was sooo convivial and friendly, it made me happy just to look at him and chat a little bit. The couscous with vegetables was just delicious and so was the pomegranate pineapple red tea. I would definitely recommend anybody to give... More

Finally made it to Silly Goose on this trip to Nashville. Reservations are not available so we went relatively early and avoided a wait. Relaxed but potentially crowded atmosphere since tables are close together. However this closeness can contribute to a fun community atmosphere. Festive rather than romantic experience. Excellent salad, and the salmon and trout entrees were very good.... More

The only reason we haven't tried this place sooner is the lack of reservation acceptance for parties of <6 however we didn't wait at all on a Saturday night. Granted the place was packed but luck was on our side. While in an odd location (in my opinion) for East Nashville ie not an old house this place truly feels... More

I have eaten here several times while visiting family and always love the food. The menu is very different which is fun. It is a small place so in order to avoid a wait, don't go at the height meal time.

I have been living in Nashville for awhile and heard all the hype about silly goose. I finally got the chance to enjoy their laid back fun service, with the pick of the crop in fresh local ingredients combined in a bold but refined creative spirit. You feel that everyone there loves what they do and that joy comes out... More

The Silly Goose is a a great find in a little shopping area positioned in the middle of a quaint neighbourhood close to downtown. The menu is happily unusual and separated between small, medium and large dishes. But this is not your typical, huge plate eatery - all the dishes are sensibly sized and unexpectedly good. The ingredients are all... More

This place has incredible food and was a savior for my friends and me. We had been drinking, eating bar food, and generally eating horribly for a few days straight when we stumbled on this place. The food is good, fresh, healthy, and tastes amazing. Loved this place!!

This place is so understated we could not immediately find it even when GPS said "you have reached your destination." The place is very small so reservations would seem to be a must. The food, while pricey, was very good and beautifully presented. The food is complimented by a professional wait staff. Having said that, shabby chic can go too... More

We were two couples having dinner at the Silly Goose an evening in July. The service was very good, and the food heavenly. There were good vegetarian alternatives. Prices were a bit high, but not unreasonable. We had some sangria, which I thought was too heavy on the peach. The basil lemonade on the other hand was very good. The... More

As you walk in you realize this is not your normal run of the mill restaurant. It's small with limited seating BUT the food makes up for what it lacks. The drinks alone were refreshing! The fresh basil lemonade was addicting. We could not get enough of it. I ordered the bird (grilled chicken breast, sun-dried tomato, avocado, bacon, peppered goat... More
