I have eaten here several times while visiting family and always love the food. The menu is very different which is fun. It is a small place so in order to avoid a wait, don't go at the height meal time.

I have been living in Nashville for awhile and heard all the hype about silly goose. I finally got the chance to enjoy their laid back fun service, with the pick of the crop in fresh local ingredients combined in a bold but refined creative spirit. You feel that everyone there loves what they do and that joy comes out... More

The Silly Goose is a a great find in a little shopping area positioned in the middle of a quaint neighbourhood close to downtown. The menu is happily unusual and separated between small, medium and large dishes. But this is not your typical, huge plate eatery - all the dishes are sensibly sized and unexpectedly good. The ingredients are all... More

This place has incredible food and was a savior for my friends and me. We had been drinking, eating bar food, and generally eating horribly for a few days straight when we stumbled on this place. The food is good, fresh, healthy, and tastes amazing. Loved this place!!

This place is so understated we could not immediately find it even when GPS said "you have reached your destination." The place is very small so reservations would seem to be a must. The food, while pricey, was very good and beautifully presented. The food is complimented by a professional wait staff. Having said that, shabby chic can go too... More

We were two couples having dinner at the Silly Goose an evening in July. The service was very good, and the food heavenly. There were good vegetarian alternatives. Prices were a bit high, but not unreasonable. We had some sangria, which I thought was too heavy on the peach. The basil lemonade on the other hand was very good. The... More

As you walk in you realize this is not your normal run of the mill restaurant. It's small with limited seating BUT the food makes up for what it lacks. The drinks alone were refreshing! The fresh basil lemonade was addicting. We could not get enough of it. I ordered the bird (grilled chicken breast, sun-dried tomato, avocado, bacon, peppered goat... More

Novel uses of herbs is the feature that makes the Silly Goose different. This is a farm to table place that uses mixtures of herbs to delight the palate. Who would expect almonds & craisins on a turkey wrap? Or basil in your lemonade? The couscous was to die for. The chef is a treasure! When we went, the place... More

We went here for lunch while on a trip to Nashville. The salads on the menu looked like some of the best restaurant salads I've seen and the salad I ordered was one of my favorite salads ever. It had shaved brussel sprouts, beets, and pistachios. I want to make it at home. If I lived here, I would go... More

Your typical East Nashville, hipster, shabby-chic sandwich shop. Tasty, good food but I wish the prices would better reflex what is offered. $10 for a turkey wrap that had more “other ingredients than turkey? Though the herbed couscous was delicious, not really what I want with a sandwich. I think a choice of homemade potato chips would not hurt a... More
