All around good pub

McNamara's is a very good Irish Pub, especially for Nashville. had everything from cheese sticks to burgers to pork chops to beef & cabage. It's all good. The reuben and pork chops have been my favorite. Also, the scotch eggs are unique and good. I prefer mine a bit less done and they... read more

We sat at the bar and had Irish Stew. Very authentic and excellent service. Sorry we missed the band, we're told they're really good

My boyfriend and I tried McNamara's based on reviews and were not disappointed. We visited on a Sunday morning, he had the steak and biscuits with fries and I had the fish and chips. We had a hard time deciding, but the deal was sealed when we saw food being delivered to a neighboring table. I must say I had... More

Stopped by for late lunch/early dinner and to scope out the place for a future stop. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our waitress even made reservations for us a month out. Will be stopping again in the near future.

Had lunch there with our daughter--the place is welcoming and cozy--food was very good. Appetizer choices were different and very tasty. Had Scotch eggs for the first time and found them delicious, as were the home made mozzarella sticks with homemade marinara sauce. Overall a nice place--waitstaff friendly and efficient. Will definitely return and try some of the other interesting... More

McNamara's is as close as you can get to Ireland in Nashville. The food, atmosphere and music is truly authentic. Paula & Sean McNamara have really created something to try. If you can't go to Ireland (well, even if you can) you really should treat yourself to a night out at McNamara's. You'll be glad you did.

You just can't beat it! A true to form Irish pub, complete from Guinness to the live Irish Pub music. We went here as a time burner but ended up finding a place we visit every time we go to Nashville!
