Best Irish Food!

We were staying in Opryland Hotel District and drove up the road to this quaint tucked away restaurant. It was lunchtime on a Sunday and was very busy with the church crowd. We ate at the bar. I had the best Fish and Chips I have ever had. The coleslaw was good too. My husband had the bangers and... read more

Want to experience some of Nashville's music scene close to the airport and enjoy tasty Irish food, this is the place! An easy drive down Donelson Pike, left onto Lebanon and there it is over to your right on Old Lebanon Rd. Living in West Nashville, my husband and I would travel 30 minutes across town to enjoy the warmth,... More

Ok so I thought the Sheppard pie was just ok and I would not order again, but the many other selection ordered ay our table went across big(the beer was cold) and the starter menu is a menu in it self. So it is worth a visit. We chose a night without live music so we/I will have to return... More

Nice casual place, we all had the Guinness steak with fries and we're still talking about it the next day. Casual, a little funky but quick and pleasant. We were in the music room and we're entertained by the house's Irish band (it is music city right). Would definitely go again and try the other fare. Popular with locals and... More

I've been to McNamara's 3 times and only ate there once. The food was good, but honestly it's the music an atmosphere that drew me back. If you want food, drink and music go for the "music room" It tends to get loud, so if you're wanting food and conversation there's an upstairs that caters to that crowd, too. Either... More

Searched out something different for a Nashville lunch on a cold rainy day. The barley soup was stunningly good, with a cold Guiness. We split a corn beef sandwich and finished with a few more beers. Want to come back for live music and more exploration of the menu!

Our Nashville family had dinner at McNamara's. Our party of 13 included 5 kids. Music was great and food was excellent. We sang and clapped our way thru dinner. I had Guinness Beef Pie and bread pudding., and both were great! A keeper for the Nashville "list."

Over an hour wait. Disappointed they didn't have any specials on a Friday night during Lent. Fish selections on menu not very interesting. Not worth the price. Need more curtains or carpet to absorb noise. Could barely hear across table since adjoining tables very close with loud talkers.

Just love this place and the food is true to Irish food and the music is fantastic. Lot's of seating and the wait staff is very fluent with the food and offerings. Lot's of choices of beer and food and the atmosphere is wonderful and very Irish pub. It did seem like the parking area was full and when I... More
