Great Irish Pub

Went here twice with friends on vacation. Had awesome fish and chips along with a Black and Tan in addition to wonderful peach cobbler. Will come here whenever in Nashville. Good Irish music as well during the week for free.

That's Irish for fun and entertainment. We really enjoyed lunch here. The Irish lad that sat us was a nice touch. I had the Reuben and Clam Chowder. Great! My wife had the bangers and mash. The sausage was awesome but would have really liked a nice brown onion gravy for the mash. I'm typically not overly critical but felt... More

My friends (2 couples and a single lady), my husband & I enjoyed a night dinner in the Music room at McNamara. The owner's band sounds great, and the irish songs (some of them from " The DUBLINERS" folk songs, or older made people from all the tables to clap and move their feet. There were a few ladies that... More

My wife and I dropped by after going to the Grand Ole Opry -- which was an odd choice in my mind. But any doubt fell away as the band started to play. "Nosey Flynn" was playing and they were TREMENDOUS. Not only was the music great, but it just seemed that everyone in the restaurant was a regular --... More

Three of us went to McNamara’s Pub on Sunday. Got there early enough that we were ahead of the after church crowd. Which worked out great. They have 5 Irish beers on tap plus plenty more in bottles and 25 types of Irish Whiskey available. For lunch we had fish & chips, Corned Beef & Cabbage and Steak and Guinness... More

This place has something for everyone. Our Family enjoys dinner and music, then on the other hand if an afterwork business blow off steam is what you need, the atmosphere lends that too. I am not Irish, but feel a little more Irish every time we go. A great family owns it and take pride in this place.

Dinner was good, not great. My husband had the Guinness stew and I had the Clare chicken. The chicken was very salty, more than I would expect from the cheese and bacon. I did try my husband's stew which was very good. The "live band" did more talking than singing. The guy seemed to think he was more of a... More

If you want true Irish music, played on traditional Irish instruments by great players, Sean McNamara and his band, Nosey Flynn, are one of the BEST groups to see outside of the Emerald Isle and they are right here in Nashville! Order the Irish Stew and your favourite pint. This place is great for all ages. McNamara's is easily my... More

If you are looking for and Irish Pub experience, McNamara's is closest thing this side of the pond. The folks here are friendly, warm, and charming. Sean McNamara has put together a music venue combined with traditional Irish fare that will be tough to beat. The live music complements the dinner experience with traditional folk entertainment, in a family friendly... More
