We try to visit as many food network and travel channel reviewed restaurants that we can that look like something we'd like. The Asian Flank steak was one of Adam Richman's best sandwiches. I had to try it. OMG, was it fantastic! Absolutely one of the best sandwiches I have had. On top of that they serve Dragon's Milk beer.... More

This is a great deli, I try to eat here whenever I'm close to this part of Nashville. The food is always fresh and a lot of it is local grown. The atmosphere is also great especially since they moved into the new building.

Good sandwiches and local brews. Seating is sparse as is parking. But once they get the parking lot finished, that should improve.

Local fare is served as part of the sandwiches that make up the menu for Mitchell's deli. It is a popular place in east Nashville especially after it aired on The Food Network a couple of years ago. The new location of the restaurant is a 1/2 block down the street from its original restaurant, and it allows for more... More

Everything we have ever gotten has always tasted great. But the "hoagie" roll is small, the ingredients skimpy for the price they're charging. $7.50 for a glorified turkey sandwich, small and thin, and no chips? Sorry, not good enough. PLUS, after you order, you have wait way too long for your food. The line is so long that it encroaches... More

Well prepared and wonderful. Your first thought when you walk in is that you will not get a seat. They have a great system that rotates tables as quickly as food is ready. Our party of five each ordered a different sandwich. We were all impressed by the quality and taste. Lunch was well worth the drive.

Jus finished eating here with my wife today. She'd had the Reuben and I the BBQ brisket. Both sandwiches were very tasty and fresh. We would totally recommend this place. The employees were very friendly. I think the owners have a really good thing going here with this little sandwich shop. Pricing isn't too terribly. The parking situation is a... More

An anchor in this funky little neighborhood. Not a lot of seating. Patience is a virtue! Flavorful and fresh made to order "deli style" sandwiches. Yum.

When I went to Mitchell's with my sister in law for the first time, It was before they had moved. The space was tight but only it wasn't as bad as some restaurants. When i got the Turkey Avocado sandwich and took the first bite, I knew Mitchell's was my new favorite. I have been back 3 times and I... More
