This place is legit! I love love love their sandwiches. Just a simple BLT is spot on. Amazing amount of fantastic bacon. The special with pork brisket, apple butter, and pickled onion was a perfect meld of flavors. Even the kids grill pb&j was great. Just had to cut off the burnt crusts. Every time I'm in east Nashville I... More

I would call the place Nashville eclectic, with a touch of hipster. The sandwiches are great it's a must do when in Nashville!

My wife and I saw the reviews on this deli on Trip Advisor and decided we had to give it a try. The reviews are definitely on target. Parking is a challenge, the food is outstanding, and you will have to stand in line to place/receive your order. This is a "do not miss" if you're in the Nashville area... More

There was a 20 minute line and another 15 minutes of waiting, but it was well worth it. I had the Italian and it was incredible. My wife had the chicken portobello and loved it - we also tried nearly all the homemade sodas and they're incredible too! To note - the address we found online isn't accurate, they have... More

I live in Nashville, and I still can't get enough of Mitchell's. I'm vegetarian, so I always get the banh mi with tofu and an orange soda. My husband loves the turkey apple brie and the beer list. And my dad loves the pastrami. There are choices for every taste, and they're all great. Patio is lovely, and the staff... More

Hands down, this is one of the best and most tastly sandwhiches I have ever eaten in my entire life. The restaurant is similar to Panera (which is also very good), but better. The ingredients taste so incredibly fresh. It reminds me of the "Colossal Cafe" in Minneapolis. What particularly stood out was the tomatoes. It literally tasted like they... More

I have been here about 4 or 5 times over a two year period and I have to say, my bread has been a little stale 3 out of 5 times. The very first time I ate there in 2008 it was wonderful! They use real bread--which does go stale faster. The bread makes the sandwich and they are good!... More

I was in town for a day on business and was taken here for a quick lunch in between meetings. We all agreed this was very good. Its very trendy, and hipster, so keep that in mind when visiting this place. I didn't care for the hippy sodas, I wanted regular drink options which they didn't have so I opt'd... More

Was not overly impressed with this deli in my old neighborhood. First and probably last visit. Drinks in a wide variety of beers as well as sodas and other drinks. Fountain sodas were be watery and little on taste. Sandwich meat had several large chunks of fat in it. Place was not very clean either in the eating area or... More
