Hands down, this is one of the best and most tastly sandwhiches I have ever eaten in my entire life. The restaurant is similar to Panera (which is also very good), but better. The ingredients taste so incredibly fresh. It reminds me of the "Colossal Cafe" in Minneapolis. What particularly stood out was the tomatoes. It literally tasted like they... More

I have been here about 4 or 5 times over a two year period and I have to say, my bread has been a little stale 3 out of 5 times. The very first time I ate there in 2008 it was wonderful! They use real bread--which does go stale faster. The bread makes the sandwich and they are good!... More

I was in town for a day on business and was taken here for a quick lunch in between meetings. We all agreed this was very good. Its very trendy, and hipster, so keep that in mind when visiting this place. I didn't care for the hippy sodas, I wanted regular drink options which they didn't have so I opt'd... More

Was not overly impressed with this deli in my old neighborhood. First and probably last visit. Drinks in a wide variety of beers as well as sodas and other drinks. Fountain sodas were be watery and little on taste. Sandwich meat had several large chunks of fat in it. Place was not very clean either in the eating area or... More

Dilemma ... Inside Mitchell's Deli ..unpleasantly cold. Offered outdoor seating and we tried it. The food is good but the flies are in full swarm. Made the meal hard to enjoy.

Mitchell's Deli was a favorite of our trip to Nashville. They actually grow chilis outside the restaurant in livestock watering tanks. The food is prepared well and the taste is beyond compare. The locally sourced ingredients are advertised and the food demonstrates their commitment to quality and taste. The specialty bottled sodas (on tap, too) were the best I have... More

This place is tucked away, seems as though all the good finds on Nashville are. The turkey bacon avocado was amazing. The meat and bread tasted fresh and the sandwich was just perfect. Loved the soda machine although my husband and I both agreed the root beer smelled awful after getting a plastic cup for a glass cup thinking it... More

The line was long but I can see why. It is a popular place for students due to pricing and speed. My sandwich was very good and a great value at less then $10. I have recommended this restaurant to my Nashville friends.

Got there early and ordered sandwiches to go, along with a breakfast sandwich to eat right away. Breakfast bgel was god, nothing spectacular, but I really liked my turkey and brie. I try to reserve 5s for restaurants I will never forget, but we got 8 different sandwiches (pretty much everything on the menu) and everyone liked them all. I... More

Stopped here on the way to dropping kid off at college - YSR - and Nashville was a last hurrah - mylanta, this place was freaking awesome! They've moved since the picture, so make sure to get the correct address. The creme soda - esp cherry cola - outstanding. Best I've ever tasted. Root beer has that home made taste.... More
