We're foodies, we admit it. But unlike most food snobs we appreciate a really good $6 sandwich as much as we do a $30 high end meal with a glass of Riesling. As a result, we generally look for, and have the best of luck with "hole in the wall" places. Mitchell's fit that criteria like a glove. WELL off... More

We saw all the good reviews online and decided to go for lunch. Well, our GPS kept taking us around in circles and after about an hour, we finally found it. As soon as the lady who took our order heard us mention it, she gave us a discount, which she didn't have to do. We couldn't believe how flavorful... More

First off, someone needs to update the cover photo for Mitchell's on here. The recently moved a few doors down the street (same street) into a beautiful new building with great outdoor seating. Their sandwiches are incredible! Definitely the BEST BLT I've ever had. Yesterday I tried the BBQ Brisket sandwich and now I'm addicted! Their new location also offers... More

Tried this place for lunch on my recent trip to Nashville and I cannot say enough good things about this food. Order the chicken and portobello mushroom sandwich...you won't be sorry! The blend flavors is a treat for your taste buds :) I suggest getting there early or calling-in your order as this place gets crowded super fast!

We decided to go off the beaten path to try this place as we passed through Nashville based on TripAdvisor reviews. The menu was comprehensive and the choices were interesting. We REALLY enjoyed the food. The staff was......different as in they have had lobotomies, were cyborgs or on a Thorazine drip, not sure but absolutely no personality and robotic. It... More

I only visited for a quick breakfast. The bagel was very very crusty; nice flavour though. Coffee was good. The place wasn't busy but it took longer than I expected to get a bagel with cream cheese. Note that they've moved down the street. I think the new address is 1306 McGavock Pk. It must be a fairly recent move... More

Went with a buddy of mine after he picked me up from the airport. Located in east Nashville, this deli has grown quickly in size and reputation. I had a knockout Italian sandwich on a freshly baked hoagie bun. It was a flavor explosion. I happily drowned my early lunch with a local stout beer. I would absolutely return next... More

Once again, Trip Advisors are right on! Mitchell's Deli served delicious sandwiches with a wide selection of beers and tap soda. My perfectly cooked pulled pork and (meaty) carrot slaw sandwich was so tender, and local-baked bread so fresh, I could easily eat my sandwich without it ever falling a part... as good or better than any NY deli! Plus,... More

And a sandwich to make your mouth water. I had the turkey, sliced green apple, honey mustard, brie on a toasted hoagie and it was a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Remember to check-out the sodas on tap. It's so nice to find local places to visit when you're traveling. The clientele here is very laid back and you almost get an artsy/eclectic vibe from... More

Very unique atmosphere. Expect it to be packed but well worth a little wait. Several good sodas on tap. The turkey/brie with cranberry jalapeño jelly and also the reuben were delicious. Eclectic atmosphere.
