Alittle pricey for but it's very clean, the food was great and the service was awesome. I wouldn't recommend sitting outside and eating on windy day, gets alittle dusty. Would I go back if I was in town? I absolutely would.

Mitchell's is a bit out of the way for a downtown visitor, but well worth the trip. And it isn't really a deli, in a New york sense. It's more of a post-utopian sandwich shop. I was wondering whether I had made a mistake as I wound my way there under the direction of Google Maps. The tiny parking lot... More

I ate here a couple of years ago when in town. The new location has a lot more seating room with outdoor tables. My sandwich was the Mitchell with sourdough bread and a lot of meat.

My family visited Nashville in December for a reunion and Mitchell's was on my list thanks to the Adam Richman, Best Sandwiches in America show. It did not disappoint. I got to try the Flank Steak sandwich and it was delicious. Also in our party was my wife who eats a vegetarian diet and my sister-in-law who is gluten free.... More

This sandwich place is in an out of the way location, that you would never happen upon unless you lived in the area, but it is worth the trip to go. The sandwich choices are unique and very tasty. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Limited parking, but you can park across the street behind the restaurants... More

We love going here for brunch, you can get buffet style bacon, eggs potate's etc or get a sandwich made. The bread is made on site and is very fresh and delishious. They also have creaming soda, root beer and a few others on tap. The hot roast beef sandwich is very good. You can sit inside or outside which... More

Location is not the greatest but that doesn't keep the people from coming. We beat the lunch rush and were helped quickly. Food was really good but seemed a bit pricey for what you got. Sandwich was a decent size but that's all you got for ~$9. Add the drink, chips, or salad for more. Parking was minimal on site... More

Went here for lunch and it is a gem in the middle of some not very nice neighborhoods. This restaurant is not located in the best place, as you need to go out of the way of many other Nashville attractions. Once inside you are presented with a variety of sandwich options which are pretty tasty. Portions are just right,... More

We live nearby and eat here now and then. The deli sandwiches are made to order and the ingredients are fresh and tasty. We enjoy the breakfast most of all. It is served buffet style and you are charged by the pound, which I find is the best value when dining here.

Had Turkey, Apple, Brie: Toasted hoagie, jalapeno cranberry relish, apples, honey mustard, and brie. ~$8 sandwich only. Fresh bread. It was excellent. Will definitely return. Nice surprise seeing the salad bar. Beer, wine. Order at counter.
