Really Good As Advertised

This was as advertised. Really good sandwiches and soup.. Loved the atmosphere. We sat outside on our last trip and it was great. Highly recommend.

We stop here regularly after running and riding bikes in East Nasville. Lots of sandwich choices. Fresh ingredients and food prepared right in front of you. The entire staff makes you feel welcome and address any issues you at have.

This patio and atmosphere makes the deli, and the sandwiches are the perfect complement. It's a little out of the way for the average Nashville tourist, but if you're in the East Nashville area, it's worth the trip.

All I can say is that if you've even visited a REAL deli, this is not one. It's sandwich shop at best. We walked in on Saturday evening to find it almost empty. Their menu seemed small so my husband asked if they have any sides. The lethargic pony tailed employee pointed with one finger to a glass case with... More

While doing a road trip through Tennessee we asked a restaurant waitress where we could pick up sandwiches for the road. Mitchells makes most things in house, has fabulous breads to put it on and serves you swiftly and with a smile. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat for either casual eat in or take out. Their sandwich combinations are... More

Alittle pricey for but it's very clean, the food was great and the service was awesome. I wouldn't recommend sitting outside and eating on windy day, gets alittle dusty. Would I go back if I was in town? I absolutely would.

Mitchell's is a bit out of the way for a downtown visitor, but well worth the trip. And it isn't really a deli, in a New york sense. It's more of a post-utopian sandwich shop. I was wondering whether I had made a mistake as I wound my way there under the direction of Google Maps. The tiny parking lot... More

I ate here a couple of years ago when in town. The new location has a lot more seating room with outdoor tables. My sandwich was the Mitchell with sourdough bread and a lot of meat.

My family visited Nashville in December for a reunion and Mitchell's was on my list thanks to the Adam Richman, Best Sandwiches in America show. It did not disappoint. I got to try the Flank Steak sandwich and it was delicious. Also in our party was my wife who eats a vegetarian diet and my sister-in-law who is gluten free.... More

This sandwich place is in an out of the way location, that you would never happen upon unless you lived in the area, but it is worth the trip to go. The sandwich choices are unique and very tasty. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice. Limited parking, but you can park across the street behind the restaurants... More
