Staff is very attentive and pleasant if you give them a chance. Seemed like lots of folks were in a rush so they probably wouldn't care or notice. Brandade app was like fish hush puppies or croquettes. Definitely fishy tasting - not bad, but you should know. Sriracha sauce was a nice compliment. Tuna tartare was excellent - very light... More

Enjoyed drinks (great bartender suggestions) and both lunch and dinner on different days. Delicious food and great service. Nashville restaurants were on 2+ hour waits for dinner on the weekend we were there. This was a great option for us instead of wasting time waiting!

The bartenders are fun and you can have a bite with friends. There is a cocktail seating area. The full wine list is available as well. We enjoyed the Henriot Champagne "1808" and a cheese plate. Divine!

Even if you are not staying at the Hutton, this is a great stop. I had dinner here while staying at the Hutton (see separate review .. excellent hotel). I should have tried something fancier but I went with the burger. Not usually on the dinner menu, the bartender suggested. It was awesome. Tasty like a burgwr should be but... More

Our family of about 25 people had a lovely brunch, using a private room and two tables. There were a variety of breads, fruit, spreads on the table and warm eggs were served after we were seated, as were various breakfast drinks. Quiet, easy to talk, plenty of delicious food.

This was an extraordinarily adventurous menu that worked. Lots of small plates with very interesting textures and flavours. Staff were fabulous and made me feel very welcome which was particularly valued as I was on my own. It was also possible to have the restaurant menu in the bar.

While we didn't stay at the Hutton hotel, but decided to give the1808 a try for brunch. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, good twist on a classic southern Sunday brunch. Walking distance from many downtown hotels. Was able to make reservations for 8:30am ( not always an option for us early birds).

The food was amazing. Delicious doesn't do justice to describe the taste. The desserts are wonderful also. I loved the cheese plate too.

Great bar, great environment and great food. We had a party of 11 folks and the service was great, the food all came out together and was hot! The menu offers great variety and the environment is open and modern. Small bar is very accommodating and big enough for the group. The food and service- key ingredients for a restaurant... More

Lovely restaurant right off the lobby of Hutton hotel, about a ten minute walk from Vanderbilt. Went for lunch with some colleagues, and thoroughly enjoyed a short rib sandwich and garlic fries. Rich, classic southern food, huge servings! Would return to try dinner menu.
