Delicious Food, Excellent Service

I was there with 2 other people we all enjoyed everything we ordered immensely. We tried some of the more creative and daring dishes and found them all to be presented beautifully, with great flavors. Our service was excellent. Only reason I could not give it a 5 is because it's a little loud... read more

My friends and I visited City House and we liked it. We both had pizzas which were great, and my other friend had the handmade pasta course. It was all good, all fresh food. Kinda of trendy with a few big rooms and outside eating. Kinda of noisey but not too bad. I would return.

Excellent food. Good vibe. Nice cocktails. Kale potato pizza and the Escarole White Bean pizza were delicious! The meal ended perfectly with the amazing German Chocolate IceBox Pie! Will go back

Loved the vibe of this city restaurant, BUT. It was a little difficult to find this place, as the sign is not visible from the street. Once inside the attractive brick building, we were seated in an open area near the kitchen. The ceiling was high and the noise volume was deafening. It was almost impossible to have a conversation.... More

First of all, I should disclose that I was meeting one of the worlds most wonderful people for dinner , in her neighborhood, and a place where everyone seemed to know her and appreciate her...Honestly, the food was only a side issue at the time as we had many years of catching up to catch up on... That said, I... More

Such a treat to have cleanly prepared farm to table food here. Such amazing tastes without the heavy fats and cheese and cream. Chicken was tender and flavorful - Chuck steak complimented with Parmesan. Lovely desserts too!

There wasn't a huge selection for me to choose from (being a egg/milk vegetarian). I had the conchigliette with mushrooms. The sauce was too delicate aka bland (perhaps because of the lack of a significant number of mushrooms). But it didn't matter because the noodles were undercooked and tough (al dente for a horse?). I couldn't finish the meal because... More

As a solo diner I was seated at the pizza bar where I watched the kitchen talent work their magic. Ryan, my server, was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, the cocktails, and the wines. In fact, I let him pick the wine to go with my entree and he hit it out of the park! The frico was wonderful and... More

We've been here before, but never for Sunday dinner. So delicious!! Each dish was more tasty than the last. The menu is completely different from the rest of the week - you just have to go! We had 1 each of the pork appetizers, and then ordered more by the end of the meal. It's great to go with friends... More

Charming restaurant. We started with the Octopus dish, which was great, as was the Escarole salad with Cauliflower. I had the Catfish, Cornmeal Crust, Cauliflower, Tomato, Anchovy, Garlic, Chilies which was wonderful. I was a little worried it would be greasy and heavy, but it was on the lighter side so I was very happy. My friend ordered the Kale,... More
