Thank goodness for the pizza we ordered as an appetizer. It was the only food item we ordered with any flavor. We also ordered the appetizer that has cheese fried over small pieces of potato. No flavor whatsoever. For our main courses, we ordered the roasted chicken that supposedly had garlic seasoning. Also had sweet onions on top. The chicken... More

To begin, we came here to treat an out of town friend that was visiting. The setup inside is very nice and makes a good first impression, however, when we sat, we ordered a nice bottle of wine that tasted vinegary and was corked. The waiter actually suggested it was corked when he opened the bottle. We asked the manager... More

Enjoyed a shared dinner for two on a recent trip to Nashville for a conference.Padrones were delicious. Nice selection of beer and cocktails. The 'supreme' pizza was also very tasty for it's all vegetable toppings. Don't skip dessert - it's worth saving room for. Service was relaxed but attentive.

We had dinner at City House with forty business associates. Neighborhood location, rooms main level and half-level up. Started with exceptional Oregon wines and prosciutto and english cheddar; excellent meal with four courses, three of types of pizza and a main course of chicken. All well-prepared and hot to the table. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

The Sunday night supper at City House is always enjoyable. It has a warm communal feel with friends laughing and eating. Always a great meal and a great deal of fun.

My wife and I joined a friend for dinner recently at Nashville's City House restaurant where we had previously dined over a year before. As I recall, our earlier experience there was fine (we all had pizzas). However, this recent visit was a far cry from the first. I'll attempt to be brief: Our friend had made the dinner reservation... More

It's noisy - I guess in a good way, if you like a busy restaurant scene. Looked like a very fun bar. We sat in the screened area; all are tables for 6, and you share. Also ok, if you know it's coming. Also if it's not sweltering; it was on the verge. The tables for two inside were inches... More

I usually sit at the bar when I visit the city house. That way I get to chat to the bar staff about the unique cocktail ingredients and maybe even get the odd free sample. The City House has the most exotic cocktail ingredients and their own great recipes that won't set you back any more money than, say, a... More

Run, don't walk, to this Germantown Gem. The pork belly pizza with homemade mozzarella, finished with a free range egg, is heaven on a plate. Rustic italian food as good as any in NYC. Highly recommended!

We go to Nashville every other year to visit my husband's family. I'm a foodie & love researching new, fun places & trying the food. We joined a local couple here & had a great meal! The fresh, margarita pizza was delicious, the wine was great, and the fresh fish was great as well. The service was great in a... More
