The food is average. The sea view is good. Best find out the sunset time before you go. You will not see anything once the sunset. It's good that you can walk along the beach after dinner. Will go again.

This restaurant defies the theory that if a restaurant has a good view the food never lives up the location. The Baths has finally got the food right. Literally right on the beach overlooking the Sorrento foreshore. All the seafood dishes are worth trying. Even the fish'n'chips are great. And the clam pasty is excellent. The chef's pride in his... Enjoyed a very good meal - complimented the chef in fact - who turned on a feast on a wintery Wednesday off-season evening. Excellent choice of seafoods and even meats for the carnivores, and a solid wine list gave us everything we needed, and more, with dessert. It’s location, standing on the edge of the Bay, is spectacular.

The Baths is one of the prettiest places for a meal on Port Phillip Bay. The restaurant is perched over the beach and waters. Food is Aussie-inspired, fresh and light (scallops, fish, pear and goat cheese salad were particular standouts), but it is the view that is to kill for. We whiled away 2-3 hours here as after lunch the... More

We dined here midweek in winter. We had the specials - lamb on pita bread and Orange Roughy. Both very good as was the dessert. My only complaint would be that the waiter knew nothing about his wine list and we had to choose on guesswork.

Lunch today with my husband and work buddy who is a chef...we were greeted on our arrival and shown to our table by Andy who was very friendly and a breath of fresh air. Our drinks, water, beer and wine were delivered to our table in cheerful manner. Our food was amazing from the fresh Coffin Bay Oysters, pork &... More

After booking weeks in advance I was sat out on the verandah jammed between two tables ( one that contained off duty staff) when the inside resturant was nearly empty, I ordered oysters that looked and tasted like muscles not nice then I had the salt and pepper squid which turned out to be double salted tripe. This place was... More

We were lucky enough to get married at The Baths on Feb 14th 2014. All I can say is that The Baths was the most perfect venue and I couldn't have asked for a better day and evening. The staff were so easy to deal with from the moment we met with them to check the place out right until... More

From the road this looks like a little shack on the beach, but if you venture on in, you will find a restaurant with lovely meals and fantastic view. This restaurant is right on the beach and what a lovely beach it is. My friends and I all enjoyed our meals, sitting on the deck and looking out to sea.... More
