Small place and ambient. Had a few meals here, usually meeting with friends in their local area. Need to book on Fri and Sat nights. Meals are nice.

We have dined at The Long Table quite a number of times although the last time being some time ago and have always enjoyed although I have to say that previously I have felt the menu a bit daunting in that some of the menu items read 'strange'. In saying that I have never had anything that wasn't delicious. This... More

When my husband and I get a rare and precious night off, dinner out is definitely how we like to spend time together. The Long Table in Red Hill is a tried and tested location. As its so constant in its quality, it is a bit of a no brainer for us. I called and it was fine. A table... More

Food was excellent and so was the service - wait staff were very pleasant throughout the whole night. Perfectly advertised and enjoyable night out with good food and drinks.

Not your typical Mornington Peninsula establishment. The food is adventurous and prepared with passion. Beautifully eclectic in style and presentation, everything about this restaurant is excellent. Not cheap but good quality food prepared well and presented thoughtfully which tastes good too never is. A good selection of local wines always complements the food here. Highly recommended.

We cannot recommend this restaurant - it does not represent value for money in a competitive market. Not all bad as our wine was good and the entrees interesting BUT the main courses would have disappointed in an inexpensive restaurant. Not many diners and our first choice restaurant nearby was booked out!

Staying in the red hill area on a Sunday evening didn't allow many options for a restaurant . The long table was one of only a couple open. The meal we had was delicious. The service was also very good. The menu had plenty of options and we were very happy with our choices. Scallops and pulled brisket for entree,... More

Stopped by on the recommendation of a lady who worked in a store close by. Modern and thoughtful menu. We ordered 2 starters, a side and one entree, plus 2 drinks. Bill came in at close to $70 .....so not cheap for an impromptu Sunday lunch. That being said, the food was excellent. Manchego churros were a revelation and the... More
