Excellent

what a perfect location - situated on the water at Port Albert. A bit out of the way but worth the trip. The food was first class. People were catching fish on the wharf outside. The view spectacular. One disappointment: the wine list was very poor. Unfortunately, like many restaurants - even in... read more

We were told that Wildfish was the best restaurant in Port Albert, & was renowned as a sea food restaurant of note !!! Well.... there were only four people in the restaurant when we were there & the Maitre D managed to get my order wrong. On the second attempt , which only took 10 minutes or so, my battered... More

After all the wonderful reviews we get, I am surprised to get such poor comments, we pride ourselves on beautiful food and excellent service, our customers thank us for the way we spoil them and the delights they taste. Our seafood is sourced from local fishermen which the region is famous for. I hope one day you come back to... More

Best for 'foodies' and for those ready to experience a few new flavours, this restaurant is a rare treat. Meticulous chef, Vito Sechi is a major city top chef, residing in a tiny country town. Don't miss out!

Had a great 3 course lunch at Wildfish. Food for all four of us was great. Angela, our waitress was fantastic. The chef came out to check how we were going. Great food, fantastic location...highly recommend.

A real taste of what southern Victoria can offer without the usual coastal commercial clutter. Scenic drive to historic windswept Port Albert fishing village for an absolutely fabulous dining experience. Great Italian seafood ( the buffalo mozzarella was to die for) friendly, efficient staff, spectacular setting on the water despite a windy day cosy, stylish, fresh building. Hope the locals... More

We stayed at a local B&B and hoped that this place could feed my wife who has a umber of dietary requirements. Nothing was too much trouble! The champagne was also excellent

A bottle of Prosecco perfectly matched our fresh seafood which included prawns with chilli, butterfish with bok choy and flathead caught that day. The bufala salad was simple and fresh. The service was wonderful with a nice explaintion of each dish we were considering including how the chef prepares it. Desserts were to die for modern Italian beautifully presented. Do... More

Dear Wildfish - we're so excited that we stumbled upon you! What a night to remember - New Year's Eve 2014 went off with an international BANG, with your absolutely delicious 8 course Italian feast, with your Sardinian Quartet who I thought were like a mixture of the Buena Vista Social Club and the Bee Gees - they were absolutely... Went here for dinner with my partner a few weeks ago on a Friday night, upon arrival we were impressed by the unique venue and location. The service throughout the night was impeccable, the staff were friendly and knowledgable about the dishes as well as the wines and we were even given a small serving of the house made sourdough...
