The Cuckoo was a childhood favourite…and so my 60th birthday had to be celebrated there. We had a party of 15 people, and the service, food and price were great!!
If you are after an afternoon tea with a difference you will find it here. The menu whilst a little on the expensive side compares very favourably with most High Teas on offer, and the Cuckoo has a light bit of entertainment to go with it whilst nestled in the pleasant Dandenong Mountains.
My first trip to the Cuckoo was over 20 years ago and it wasn't until about 5-6 years ago I returned. But, when I did return I ended up re-visiting quite regularly. The most recent visit was to celebrate my wife's birthday with her family and it seems that little has changed over the many years the place has been... More
We are from the UK and were visiting our family, who booked this venue for 20 of us. We had a wonderful night. The food, staff and entertainment was excellent and I highly recommend a visit. I only wish we had something similar over here.Thank you to all concerned for making this a memorable evening.

The food was fantastic, ok .... not the high roller stuff but, I went back in times with all the dishes I knew from Germany and Belgium..... The entertainment is nice and just family oriented. Toilet was clean... Well it was so good that I booked already for Xmas.... I thank the Cuckoo for a fantastic afternoon.
The family went there for my mother in laws 90 birthday. great choice of food and entertainment was fine . our MIL enjoyed it thouroughly

Very steep paths lead you to door. Garlic prawns tasted like cat food the entertainers try but entertainment is very dated as is the whole theme of The... More
