Staff were rude and pretentious. Food was quite nice however they have a mini deli with cheese that you can buy elsewhere for at around 20% of the price. example $82 for 100g of cheese and I saw the same cheese the following day I saw it at Simon Johnson in Chadstone shopping center for $12. You will like the... More

Thoroughly unpleasant, food was mediocre for the price (try Ciao Bella across the Peninsula for real pizza), the tables are too close together, and the Australian waiters attempts to pronounce some things with an Italian accent were embarrassing, verging on racsist.

Our first time at Doc Mornington today. Great location at the end of Main street, great service and really good selection of food to eat in and then food to take away for later. We have a mix of dishes as there were 9 of us and everyone was very happy. The mixed gelati capped off a great meal. The... More

We are a belgian couple, coming to Melbourne every year to visit our daughter. Today by rental car we went to Mornington. We recognised D.O.C. because we know them from Lygonstreet in Carlton / Melbourne. We were not dissapointed, had a nice prociutto pizza, a tasty glas of red housewine and a good latte. The young boy who served us... More

I really enjoy the pizzas here however, refuse to go back after very rude waiters on all 3 visits. They literally through the plate down. Very arrogant. The seating isn't great either, long tables of many people so very impersonal. Not the cheapest place to dine either.

We ate here 3 days ago and the pizza was so good we had to go back for lunch the next day and, boring, ordered exactly the same thing. I guess that says it all. I had the Tiger prawn pizza and my wife had the proscutto with buffalo mozzarella. We shared and both were perfecto. Well thats if, like... More

I love a good rocket, pear, and parmiggiano salad and was looking forward to it at DOC. While some of the meals look delicious, they clearly are not interested in composing appetite quenching salads. I wasn't deterred by the price, $15, but was left very hungry when I received a bowl of rocket, barely a teaspoon of shaved cheese and... More

DOC has a high-profile location at the top of street with a view to the sea. It is nicely laid out with very attractive grocery section displaying of meats, cheeses and sweets for sale. The service, unfortunately, was appalling when we visited on a beautiful summers day. The food was good, but not up to the praises sug by some... More
