This is a country pub that is a little out of the way. This is whats makes it a little special. It has new managers, who are working hard to bring it back. Sandra and I have been to this pub many times over the years, always made welcome, the food is far better than the normal pub food. There... More

Menu was very simple and restricted ... Most of the meals lacked flavour... Didn't have a few of our first choices.... Staff were scruffy and not interested in attending to us ... Overall very disappointed and will not be going back. Carpet threadbare, tables dirty and cutlery from an 80's cafe !!!

Four of us went to this lovely looking "pub" two having visited in the past. The food was average but in large portions. Quantity does not make up for lack of quality. The plate of calamari could have fed a whale for a week. The steak and ale pie had half a cow inside but no textural contrast. All one... More

We ate here with family, and had a really enjoyable meal. The atmosphere really is like an authentic 'olde-world' Inn, complete with huge fireplace, loads of wooden beams and low ceilings. It was packed, which is a testament to the quality of the great food and friendly staff, who really go out of their way to please. The beer was... More

Food is ok. Music was too loud one night. Note we have been there many times. Last two times were bad. About four months ago out of two beers, no chicken dishes and no ribs. What do you have. This week sunday, billed for drinks not ordered, lucky we were in a group and each paid our share. Wont be... More

As a Family had previously had Lunch for 12 there which was good but nothing spectacular. Went there again on June 1st with 8 people. Service very poor, no "on tap" beer(only stubbies or bottles) food very ordinary. I paid for the meal and later when my Daughter in Law went up to pay they never told her we had... More

Booked for Saturday before mothers day and took my 83 yo mother out for what I thought would be a nice wholesome dinner. 3 of us ordered the seafood platter, NO Aioli left in the kitchen to put on the side. NO tartar sauce. Was offered TOMATO sauce for our platters. You have to be joking. Isnt this suppose to... More

We booked for the 70's & 80's night which had great music and a great live band! The food however is very poor. They offer you a fixed 2 course dinner. The entree, chilli prawns were very plain and tasteless. The prawns were either boiled or steamed and chilli sauce from a jar. Main was shanks, mine were just ok,... More
