Fantastic Food , Just a little different

Loved this restaurant. Wasn't sure of the ordering process so the friendly staff explained how the meals are Tapas style. I'd always wanted to try Tapas so was rather excited. Unique service - seemed authentic to the situation when we visited and the selection was more than ample: excellent restaurant and bakery as well as environment.

Went to the Innocent Bystander (Giant Steps) today for a quick lunch. We ordered coffee, fries and a Buffalo Mozzarella pizza (because that's what the kids would eat). Service was good. Coffee was OK, fries good but the pizza was probably one of the worst I've had in a long time. It was tasteless except for a sour, uncooked sauce... More

Giant Steps is a great looking venue. We dropped in there for a coffee and then wine. Saw some great looking pizzas but we had other plans for dinner. We had planned to have brunch with the kids but thought the breakfast menu was better suited to fashionable adults rather than a family. Probably a good location for friends -... More

Went here for dinner. The food was alright but maybe a little pricey for what it is. The larger dishes weren't that large and I understand its a Tapas menu however youd have to spend quite a bit of money to get a decent amount of "grazing" food for two people. The salad was mostly lettuce and had very little... More

The food is tasty and the modern decor and open warehouse style make for a stylish lunch venue. However portions are small and we ended up feeling that the price tag is a little high for what you get. Don't expect a personal service as the restaurant and wine tasting get extremely busy - a bit of a victim of... More

They winery is situated in the centre of Healesville so when staying in town it is in walking distance. Everyone could enjoy sampling the fine wines while not having to worry about who was going to drive home. They have some excellent reds and try the vermouth for a blast from the past

This restaurant was the talk of the town so we couldn't wait to eat there but it was very bland, warm bottles of tap water put on the table (which was the norm in Australia) when I asked for ice water. It's very expensive by American standards and not very good

We ate here today, thank goodness we booked this time. The couch experience was first class again from the service, food, wine and coffee. Even though the place was busy the service time was excellent, we didn't want to move, sat in the window in the sun in a couch, what else is better to do on a Sunday.

We came across this place accidentally whilst touring through Gippsland recently. Wow....what a magnificent experience ! Loved the architecture and the entire set up of casual eating ....wine tasting...yummy cheeses , freshly made breads and speciality foods to purchase. Extremely busy with the possibility of needing to book at times. We enjoyed a very tasty lunch with a glass of... More
