Great place for some hot and tasty food. Service was good and the waiter was knowledgeable. My wife likes very hot food and she loved the place. Good variety of food cooked to the spice level you want. Not a place I expected an Indian restaurant, but do yourself a favor if you like Indian and go, it is worth... More

On the basis of having dinner here one evening a few days ago we would rate this restaurant as "average" in terms of both food and service. There was nothing significant to complain about but on the other hand there was nothing that could lift the rating to "very good". The food was good but not in any way exceptional.... More

I don't know why this restaurant has scored so highly - we had a really bad time here! We ate in the evening and were seated next to a window with a draught coming in even though it was closed. There was a screaming baby at one table and 3 kids from another table kept running up and down past... More

Definitely a family affair! Lovely views onto the valley floor and a pleasant place to dine with your family.

We dined here on the Saturday evening of a long weekend. As expected, it was quite busy...but not every table taken busy. The food was okay, but the service really let this place down. The gentleman who seated us was fine and pleasant, but our waitress was terrible. It was like we were an inconvenience to her. I was definitely... More

Went there first time really rude staff .I believe these people need to learn some manners and customer service . Really bad food with very rude people serving. Probably give this place a miss.

Punjabi (one who hails from the lovely state of Punjab in India) are known to be very warm, friendly, hilarious and tenders of exceptional hospitality but the guys operating this establishment are none of the above. Picked up & dined in four times during our week's stay at Grampians motel which is about two minutes down the road from them.... More

Having booked for Saturday night 2 days prior we were looking forward to trying out an Indian restaurant in the middle of the Grampians. We were treated to a blackout on Saturday afternoon and phoned the restaurant to find out if they would be cooking if the power was still out later. They assured us they cooked with gas and... More

The Spirit of Punjab is a lovely place for yummy Indian food. Only a short walk from the town centre. We were given a choice of mild or hot when ordering. The prices are very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We watched the kangaroos and the ducks at the dam from the restaurant.
