What a surprise. Great naan and dhal (although on a bit of salty side) but fantastic food and portions. Pricing more expensive than your usual suburb Indian take-away store. The restaurant front is amazing and very educational for one wishing to learn about the Punjab culture.

Each of us rode a motorcycle 1000 km to stay in Halls Gap and particularly to return to eat here. After a great meal (once again) we have decided we will return yet again.

If you like Indian you have to try this restaurant. The food is authentic & delicious. We ate here based on reading reviews & it didn't disappoint. Such a gem to find in a small town. We had 2 main dishes, a bowl of rice & 3 different types of Naan, this fed myself, husband & 2yr old. There was... More

After being seated and attended to by the friendly staff the food started flowing pretty quickly. Garlic tandoori mushrooms were to die for as the entrée. Meaty and full of flavour from the tandoor oven. For main I opted for the hot beef vindaloo. Meat was fall apart tender and no sign of tomato oil resting on the top. Just simple,... More

i have been in Halls Gap for the weekend and ate here for the last 2 nights. The food is really good. Had the cauliflower entree tonight and it was outstanding. The service last night when the resteraunt was quiet was fine. Tonight it was very busy in the resteraunt but there still only 2 floor staff. I had takeaway,... More

Just finished an excellent meal here while on a couple of days 4x4 trip to the Grampians. This restaurant was an unexpected delight. It exceeded our expectations. Other restaurants could learn from this one. Certainly no attitude of " they are tourists passing through and we won't see them again". Well done and hope to visit again.

Just had the best Indian feed of my life. This place is incredible. The decor is a little different, but the staff are very attentive and enthusiastic and the food is amazing. We had the banquet for two and it was sensational. More food than you could eat, and all of it was authentic and delicious. You would not expect... More

We ate in the outdoors area as the sun was setting over the range, and the view was sensational. The food was ok but not great..... but the atmosphere more than made up for it. We would go again. The staff were most courteous.

After a long hard days ride, was a surprising find. Enquired at a few places as to the quality. A big thumbs up given by locals. Great aroma on walking in the front door, surrounded by weird statues. Service was excellent, attentive, not at all overpowering. But the best surprise was the quality of the food. Excellent. Not cheap, but... More
