While the environment is pleasant, the food lets you down. An extremely small menu that is limited to focacias and wraps, with maybe two or three other choices off the "specials" board. All in all it was disappointing, especially when they kept coming back to light the fire again and again. There was nothing about our experience this time to... More

I had my last birthday here and have had many fantastic meals at Earthly Pleasures. The food is imaginative and the vibe unbeatable. Its also reasonably priced. In sunny weather its a great place to take kids- they can run around in the front garden without bothering other patrons. My favourite restaurant in Belgrave

On a recent visit from Tasmania, my son and his girlfriend took me to Earthly Pleasures for lunch. To say I was impressed is a huge understatement. Every single thing was fantastic - the beautiful stone exterior of the building, the stunning interior décor, the lovely atmosphere, the full and varied menu, the friendly staff and most of all the... Serving fantastic coffee in a warm room decked out with local art, Earthly Pleasures is indeed a pleasure. Scrambled tofu with spinach, onions and herbs was a delicious blend of salty and sweet, while the fried eggs were declared PERFECT by my companion. Not cheap but very high quality, thoughtfully prepared produce.

I recently held my 30th birthday at Earthly Pleasures. I have eaten there before for breakfast and lunch, and have always loved the beautiful old building and garden. When searching high and low for a venue in Belgrave, I didn't realise that Earthly Pleasures did functions. Adam was very friendly and helpful in organising my function. The room was beautifully... The historic property is beautiful. The great hall was packed with people and so i anticipated something pretty special. The menu was very limited for both breakfast and lunch. I ended up getting bacon and 1 egg, tomato and baked beans for $18.50. I could have made it better myself at home. The coffee was forgotten, then came luke warm.... More

A wonderful place to go for a quiet meal. We went on Valentines day, no booking but no problem, very friendly and honest staff, reasonably priced meals and such a tranquil setting yet great space for kids as well. The food was great and the 1930s building a real treasure.

Walking in the place is amazing, such a beautiful historic looking elegant restaurant.. My friends and I both ordered poached eggs breakfasts, which arrived more on the cold side and were hard!! No runny-ness to the yolk at all... Which was really not great to eat.. Then we ordered a side of Bacon each which I think was $4.50 and... More

Food is delicious however portions are small and so a bit expensive for what you get. The atmosphere is lovely, decor is nice, food selection very good. Go for a coffee and cake or for a treat.
