The historic property is beautiful. The great hall was packed with people and so i anticipated something pretty special. The menu was very limited for both breakfast and lunch. I ended up getting bacon and 1 egg, tomato and baked beans for $18.50. I could have made it better myself at home. The coffee was forgotten, then came luke warm.... More

A wonderful place to go for a quiet meal. We went on Valentines day, no booking but no problem, very friendly and honest staff, reasonably priced meals and such a tranquil setting yet great space for kids as well. The food was great and the 1930s building a real treasure.

Walking in the place is amazing, such a beautiful historic looking elegant restaurant.. My friends and I both ordered poached eggs breakfasts, which arrived more on the cold side and were hard!! No runny-ness to the yolk at all... Which was really not great to eat.. Then we ordered a side of Bacon each which I think was $4.50 and... More

Food is delicious however portions are small and so a bit expensive for what you get. The atmosphere is lovely, decor is nice, food selection very good. Go for a coffee and cake or for a treat.

the earthly pleasures cafe is tucked around the back of a grey stone building containing a few lovely antique shops. We spent a leisurley breakfast in the cafe and the food was top notch. Only open for b'fast and lunch I highly recommend this gem in belgrave.Take your time and enjoy.

We came with limited expectations, it being our first time. Greeted quickly upon entry & very unpretentious staff that are great at their job. The two hours we reserved for the meal, wasn't needed because of the high level of efficiency. Wonderful architecture, atmosphere & ambience, perfect music, art & lighting. My daughter had the pesto chicken, not something she... More

Been going to earthly pleasures for several years and always enjoy the lovely warm atmosphere, together with the great coffee and food. Specials of the day for breakfast and lunch change daily on the board and are always interesting and tasty. The old house is beautiful with its wood panelling and is cosy in winter, while in summer it's garden... More
