Description: It's here, in Beechworth, that our bakery and our traditions began...
It's here, in Beechworth, that our bakery and our traditions began. Steeped in history as this town - and this region - is, it's a great place to live, work and visit. Making the most of two historic buildings sitting side by side right in the centre of town, the original Beechworth Bakery was established in 1984. Since then the bakery has carried on the original vision and passion for customer service and quality product, which runs through the foundation of all our bakeries. We hope you enjoy your visit to Beechworth, and warmly invite you to our bakery - your home away from home.

Good stopover for breakfast

I just had a simple breakfast with sourdough toast, and my friend was very happy with her toasted hot cross bun. The tea is bottomless, so for around $3 I could have as much as I liked. There is also a good range of tea including green and herbal for those who prefer that. Bought a few treats to... read more

We have enjoyed our stops at the Beechworth Bakery. It is always busy and consistent. There are plenty of items to choose from but I usually get a Tom's Curry Pie and have never been disappointed. We found the service friendly and efficient on our most recent visit on a busy Saturday.

This bakery has a huge reputation and following, however I think that it has slipped recently in service and quality of product.

Beechworth is worth a visit for its history and ambience plus lots of photo opportunities but it is all capped off by a cup of coffee and a delicious Beechworth Bakery Pie.

The place was packed so we assumed that it would be good. We weren't overly hungry so we just tried the Ned Kelly pie. It may well have been the best pie I have ever eaten.

On our road trip from Gold Coast to Tasmania with our four children (via both car & boat), we were told by many that the Beechworth Bakery was a must! Naturally, we had to check it out to see what all the hype was about. The kids each had sausage rolls & we had a Tom's Curry pie. Yep, they... More

Have bought a couple of different loaves of bread here and they were ok. They have a good selection of breads, cakes and savoury items. Their pies look good so thought I should try one, being in Ned Kelly country I decided on the Ned Kelly pie. This consists of minced beef, egg, cheese and bacon served with tomato sauce... More

Breakfast at the Bakery after a disappointing dinner the night before at the Hibernian (check out previous review). Staff excellent, happy and friendly at 7.30 am Sunday. Clearly they had not been out late or they had a berocca and possibly a Tom O'Toole pie and coffee to start the day. Go here and you will not be disappointed

The bakery is raved about and with its upstairs, downstairs areas are a great place for a coffee, cake and conversation. The pies are just average but sandwiches looked pretty good. A bit overrated in my opinion. But a must visit when in Beechworth.

Had a great lunch here, Bushranger focacia was toasted and tasted delicious. Very good service, clean and tidy. Good range of food and drinks available. Took away a nice apple strudel, lamington and citrus tart for later. All were delicious.
