Description: La Scala on Jersey has embarked on an exciting new chapter, with the talented Massimo Mele as Executive Chef. Massimo draws on his childhood influences from Naples to deliver both his modern take on the originals as well as traditional Italian dishes. La Scala on Jersey brings to life his ethos of Tutti A Tavola - 'everyone to the table'. It's a place for every occassion, to share food and wine with friends and family, for a casual dinner or for a special celebration. At La Scala on Jersey, the true Italian feasting and sharing style of dining is encouraged, but if you fancy a bowl of delicious pasta (or anything else for that matter) all to yourself - that's ok too.

We were taken for dinner on Saturday night and absolutely loved the place. The decor, staff and menu were fantastic. Cannot rave about the food enough; simple and delicious don't give it justice - it was superb. Would highly recommend the restaurant and will definitely be back ourselves. Thank you Chef Massimo Mele.

We recently ate at La Scala to celebrate a 60th birthday. When the meals were presented they had cooked the wrong meal for a member of our party. At these prices their ability to take down an order correctly is a given. Having said that the food was good. Overall let down by the service.

We had a wonderful evening here with friends, the food was absolutely delicious. The Wagyu Beef Carpacchio is a must try. Srevice was friendly, efficient and helpful, but not tooo "in your face". The wine list is extensive and matches the food well. Loved it and will be back!

This restaurant is a nice surprise , the entrance is round the back of a once fairly ordinary pub. It's been all glammed up now and you ascend the stairs to enter a rather lovely , well designed space of a dining room. The waiter was welcoming , as we were early in the evening only one other table was... More

Hi Saskigrav, Thank you for taking the time to post your recent experience with us on tripadvisor. I was delighted to read, that for the most part, you enjoyed your evening with us. However, it saddened me to read that you almost left because of lacklustre service. Rest assured this is not what I strive to provide to my customers... More

We had dinner here and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and service. The steam prawn entree was delicious and my husband enjoyed the quail. The rack of lamb was tasty but my husband did not enjoy the pork which he said was tasteless and boiled up. We shared a dessert so except for the pork found the meal quite ok It... More

Had an early meal with 2 young boys - lovely entrance upstairs to inviting candlelit room with good music. All 3 of us thought food delicious. Head guy Andy very welcoming, waitress a little less warm but attentive. Would go again. Atmosphere great. Check out beautifully set Women's Powder room upstairs alight with candles too. Enjoyed!

My friend wanted to take me here for my birthday due to their Gluten Free Nemesis cake (the same from the River Café). The décor is actually quite confusing. There is industrial, Italian table cloths… not quite sure what they were aiming for? The view from the ladies room upstairs is worth a visit – quite Art Deco up there…... More

The restaurant is in very unpretentious hotel but the atmosphere improved dramatically when you climb the stairs. We have been there several times and have had good food, good wine and well informed and attentive service. Music is good and enough room between tables so that you can talk to your fellow diners.

great quality Italian style with good wine. Spacious table arrangements above a cool hotel bar. The maitre'd(?owner) knows his wines and adds a bit of fun to the night. Have been several times and enjoyed them all

Very expensive for the poor service and snooty attitude. Really not worth a visit in a city with so many gems.
