We had a Christmas in July event here and were quoted $50 per head for two courses. This consisted of a starter of a couple of pieces of gem lettuce a walnut or two, and a small amount goats cheese. The main was a small portion of Risotto. On top of the this the pub then decided to add $5... More

Didnt eat there but the pub atmosphere was great, buzzzing and busy but they did shut early so we had to move on which was a shame

Let's start with the positives about The Lord Dudley: The limited menu is reasonably priced (I guess, for Woollahra) and the food OK. We had the salmon and prawns, plus a bowl of French fries. The wait staff are polite and helpful. Now for the not-so-positives: The last time I went to the LD was the early 1980s, and it... More

A very ordinary English style pub in up-market Woollahra. Great if you are an English expatriate who cannot bear Australian seafood or Asian cuisine that abound in the area, but otherwise very ordinary and unimaginative. Service friendly and dining room comfortable. It depends on your taste.

I said 4 stars but my son, a budding gourmandiser talked down my exuberance. Wagyu beef cheek, shoulder of lamb and streamed broccoli. The lamb was served with couscous and served medium rare. The beef slow cooked and falling apart as it should. The staff are friendly and engaging. The menu doesn't tend to change all that much. A pleasant... More

The fish came with a small portion of chips for $29.50. I am obviously disapointed and won't come back for their food.

I used to eat here often and took a group of friends here on my recomendation even though I hadnt eaten here for 5 years. The pub is the same great old English (pork pies great). The downstairs restaurant is dank and needs lots of love and attention. Food is extremely overpriced and basic/bland. my $34 snapper (average) meal needs... More

This place once was one of the best pub feeds in Sydney until they changed owners. I have been back twice since and will not return. Disappointed both times ,shame . The pub is still a great place for a drink, just skip the food downstairs

The Lord Dudley is a well-known Paddington/Woollahra watering hole that is always crowded in the evenings with drinkers spilling out on the street. But downstairs in the cellar the restaurant is a good spot well worth a try. We went there with a group of 7 and were well looked after with good food in a pleasant atmosphere. The prices... More

If you like UK pubs you'll feel at home here, small, dark wood, crowded with friendly locals. Off the beaten Sydney track but handy if you're staying in Paddington or Woollahra. We didn't eat here, just had a couple of pints, but hope to come back.
