We are always looking for a nice place to have lunch on a Sunday. The Watsons Bay Tea Gardens is always one of our options. We drive from the other side of the Harbour Bridge to come to this little restaurant, and it is always worth the long drive. The staff are friendly and turned out, and understand the spirit... More

Alright, it was the de rigger flat white with the scones, but the scones, the cream and the jam were great. The service was friendly and upbeat and the food combined the view over the busy little marina was a wonderful way to pass the time before catching the ferry back to Circular Quay. The outdoor setting, however, might be... More

In an earlier review I suggested the fish and chips were a must at Watson's Bay but I must qualify that and also recommend the Watson's Bay Tea Gardens. They are situated in a quieter area of Watson's Bay and the outside tables are surrounded with plants and hedges with a superb view of Sydney harbour beyond. Food is good... More

We intended to have lunch at the takeaway section of Doyles but as it was so busy, even on a Wednesday, we decided on the Tea Gardens. Good job we weren't starving as we had to wait almost an hour until our order was taken. The food when it arrived was ok, but not great. I really think that because... More

This place is quieter than the main (limited) options closer to the ferry terminal. Kid friendly and service was good too. Let down by the food a little though, but give your other option is fish and chips down at the wharf, it's not too bad. Wide variety of menu options too and ok price.

Came across this place yesterday while wandering around a VERY busy Watsons Bay. When everyone gets off the ferry, most people make a beeline for the pub beer garden or one of the Doyles eateries. We turned right instead and went for a wander past Dunbar House and the next wharf, and were delighted to spot the well-shaded Tea Gardens... More

We ate a late lunch here after watching the start of the Sydney to Hobart yacht race. The tea gardens were busy but the staff still charming! We had the bruschetta and tapas which were lovely. A fab little spot for people watching!

This is just a lovely place to have breakfast or lunch. You can sit outside even in the hottest weather as they supply good sunshade umbrellas. The food is not lavish, but cooked well and served by nice young people, and the prices are reasonable. Coupled with great walk in the South Head reserve, and a ferry trip back to... More

We had lunch in the sunshine taking in the views of yachts and water. The service was very attentive, however we made the mistake of ordering the beef burgers. They were served in huge buns with very else inside the bun except a slice of cheese, mayo and some lettuce. We ended up drowning ours in tomato sauce which probably... More

Great spot for lunch particularly if you come across to Watson's Bay on the ferry. Beautiful views over the baths to the harbour. Both our mains of calamari and flathead fillets were well cooked, fresh and tasty. Just a short walk from the wharf at Watson's Bay and away from the crowds. well worth a visit
