A perfectly placed cafe right near the water's edge at posh Watson's Bay. Jaw-dropping views over shimmering Sydney Harbour and the Bridge. Food is great and the menu varied, all at a reasonable price. A Mother's Day favourite and ideal for overseas or interstate visitors. Kid friendly with a... read more

What a find. Classically beautiful autumnal day in Sydney. No rain no wind practically cloudless blue skies. A location far from the madding crowd. We booked ..a good idea ! BYO. Food was delicious. Home made vegetable soup, calamari, lemon sole ...list goes on. Delicious. Wait staff attentive courteous and efficient. The harbour was sparkling. Bridge views and the Manly... More

A delightfully situated venue overlooking Watsons Bay harbour. Outdoor seating is available and particularly enjoyable during the summer months.A family owned restaurant where all the waiters who served us were from Italy and extremely professional in their duties. A limited but adequate lunch menu and BYO wine and beer facilities are available. The food was of a high quality and... More

We were just off the ferry from Sydney and it was so hot and we needed a cold drink! A very good iced coffee did the trick! Good service, good location.

Although Watsons Bay has a number of seafood restaurants, we tried the Tea Gardens Prices were reasonable, around $20+ per plate and the setting is away from a busy Jetty for the ferries. I ordered a Wago beef burger with chips, my partner a prawn salad. The meat was overdone and the burger itself was dry basically with some lettuce... More

Move out of the crowds and go to the right from the ferry. We visited Watson's Bay on a warm and humid day so to find a beautiful spot with a breeze, friendly service, lovely view over the bay to the city, and interesting food was a huge bonus. Staff were knowledgeable about menu items and minor alterations were no... More

We always turn right off the ferry and relax here with a cake and coffee or similar and have never been disappointed. Our UK visitors loved it, especially after a dip in the public pool opposite. We have not eaten lunch here but those served to others always look good. I suppose the quality of service is dependent on the... More

Having caught the ferry to Watson's Bay from Circular Quay, we wandered along the foreshore and stumbled upon the Watson's Bay Tea Gardens. Although we stopped only for coffee, the look of the meals emerging from the cafe looked good enough for this to be a future destination for lunch. This is one of the very few places we have...
