The food was very ordinary .it used to be a Sydney icon but no longer that. It has really gone off I'm sure there are much better sea food restaurants in Sydney & better value

Watson's Bay is beautiful & a trip to Doyles is really part & parcel of the experience. The place must be making good money because as soon as you land off the ferry, ta dah! Doyles is there, so lots of tourists to serve. The service was efficient & the place was very clean and the food was not greasy.... More

I found the food was well prepared and was delivered quickly without a long wait. Pricing was reasonable for the location.

I ordered the grilled salmon which came with mash potatoes and salad. I was impressed with the taste and quality given its takeaway. You can also sit down as they have seats along the wharf.

I'd heard lots of good things about this place, so I was disappointed with what I ordered. I had the salt and pepper squid which was very chewy and greasy. The place was busy although lots of people seemed to just be drinking rather than eating. I wish I'd looked around before buying.

After visiting want sons bay for the day we heard about Doyles so decided to get some food before we got the ferry back to the city. It's a bit pricey but because if the location, worth a visit and would return!

We have ordered 2 combos of fish, calamari, and chips with additional tartare sauce and a bottle of water. The combo comes with 1pc fried fish and 5pcs of calamari. We paid $32, which I believe is a bit pricey. The plum chili sauce that comes with it is nice and it's really good with the calamari. Both the fish... More

Long queues and poor table service .. In fact rude.. The food is generous and nice but the whole take way and sit in concept is a bit dubious. All care no responsibility...

I agree with a previous reviewer's point regarding the most stupid system of ordering in the world and the fact that you can't buy a beer until you have collected your food. However, I had three pieces of lovely fried fish in batter for $6-80 which I thought was somewhat of a bargain in this town. Worth going to if... More

My wife and I have been to Doyle's a number of times and enjoyed the experience. However our visit yesterday was less than good. Having asked for one half lobster thermidor and one fish (barramundi) and chips we were asked "fried or grilled?" To which we replied "fried please" What actually came was an obviously lightly grilled Barramundi and a... More
