We have enjoyed many a visit to Doyle's over the years, so it made sense to visit to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We wanted somewhere relaxed and casual, a seafood platter for 2 and a waterfront view to go with it. We booked ahead advised it was our 20th wedding anniversary and were assured of a table for 2... We were not disappointed when we returned recently at lunchtime on our wedding anniversary. It was a cold, windy day but we were seated in the sunroom where it was very cosy still with the superb views of the harbour. Food was first-class as were the friendly, attentive but non-intrusive staff.

We dined here for a family birthday. We arrived and we're met in the car park and shown where a car spot was available It was wonderful to have there own car park (behind restaurant) as parking can be difficult. The restaurant has 2 levels with views of the Harbour. We had booked upstairs which was lovely. Staff friendly. Food... More

Visited here for the second time, just as good as before! Booked for 6pm on a Sat evening so we're able to watch the place nicely fill up. The food was again, epic! Garlic prawns were delicious and the calamari was a decent portion for starter too. As for the main, I went with the mussels and hops as a... More

Doyles offer a mid-range priced seafood dining experience whilst overlooking the stunning views across Watsons Bay. The menu is varied, there's plenty of attention to detail. The service level is high and the quality of food is high. I really enjoyed the fresh seafood, everything was well prepared and I would recommend the restaurant to anybody seeking an authentic seafood... More

In April we had to be a bit more undercover and so didn't get the full effect of the view. This is very much a sea food restaurant, which isn't my favourite but I did enjoy the prawns. Service was pretty good, including recognising that a better table (further away from the windy doorway) had become free and moving us... More

130 Years on Doyles is still one of my favourite restaurants It's been 20 years since I last visited. Caught the Ferry from the Quay to Watsons Bay. Seafood was simple tasty and fresh Service was great and we weren't rushed . View of the Harbour were spectacular and the Watsons Bay Hotel next door was a good starting point... More

After all those years this place works like a well oiled machine with a classic old fashioned menu. Can't go wrong with a prawn cocktail, fried whiting n chips on the beach with the view to match! And the pub nextdoor does a great Bloody Mary!

Special Anniversary lunch yesterday was anything but special. Seafood platter was anything but fresh, the service was so quick, hard to believe the food was not pre-cooked and reheated, it tasted like it as well. The best thing about this lunch was the view and the company. Won't be visiting again.
