The fish and chips were nice. We sat by the window inside the restaurant and watch the world go by... Relaxing.

They turn away humans after 4 pm and are very rude and offer no other options. This constitutes major suckage and humans deserve better. Oh yes.

Doyles is a old delightful restaurant in Watson Bay.nice easy menu, consistently good service but somehow the bill always manages to surprise you.The menu is quite big, seafood is the specialty. The ingredients are fresh but expertly prepared. especially the mussels and the snapper. The wine recommendation complimented the food perfectly and the seafood. A good place to be looking mindlessly... More

Hi, I took an overseas friend here on a very rainy cold Tuesday night last week for dinner. I've been going to Doyles every few years for over 40 years. When I was a child this place was excellent and has been operating since about 1885. The restaurant is located about 20-30 minutes from the Sydney city centre if travelling... More

I love seafood & have never seen a better platter than the one at Doyles! Almost too much to finish...but not quite! Oh & that view of Sydney is not too shabby either. Get a boat across to add to the occasion.

I must admit, I visited Doyle's on the Beach because I had seen Billy Connolly go there on a documentary about Australia. However, I have been back to Sydney a few times since, and have made a point of going back. It is one of the locations the 'hop on, hop off' boat trips round Sydney Harbour stop at -... More

Doyle's is an institution, always busy. We had a great table, by the front window inside the old building on a lovely winter's day. The service was friendly and efficient. The menu is quite big, seafood is the specialty. It's just very expensive for fish and chips! Go to the take-away on the wharf (run by the same people) and... More

We had heard so much about this restaurant and on our visit to Watsons Bay we decided to have lunch there at Doyles on the beach. We had lovely food especially the mussels and the snapper. We went for a walk prior to lunch and post lunch

Lobster mornay looked pretty decent too. Our food was delivered within seconds. A good place to be hopelessly jet lagged and stare mindlessly at the glories of the harbour.
