Amazing Lunch in Watsons Bay!

Extremely lovely setting with the surrounds of Robertson Park and ocean views towards the city. Sat on the verandah with perfect sunny weather. Lunch options were very good, decided on the prawn linguine. Absolutely delicious!!! My partner had the John Dory and also enjoyed it very much... read more

we had our wedding reception here back in 1993, then I hadn't returned again until a friends birthday. It has had a freshen up and our reception was upstairs. Birthday celebration was on the verandah with fabulous views and still fabulous food!

The venue was wonderful. It was a pity it was raining and the actual ceremony could not go ahead outside. However there were wet weather contingency plans and it was held indoors in a wonderful old worldly setting. The decor of Dunbar House is lovely. There was plenty of room at the tables and it did not feel squashed. The... More

Opulence and elegance everywhere. A friend's wedding reception was held here in June 2015 and everything was 5-star. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to hold their wedding reception here. Service, food, drinks, venue, everything was on point. Highly recommend.

Caught ferry from Circular Quay for lunch at Dunbar House as we have done a few times.Love the ferry ride looking at the beautiful Sydney Harbour and no parking or traffic problems. When we arrived the staff were ever so helpful and friendly, even though we had not booked. This time we both had the salmon and salad and it was delightful... I took the two ladies in my family here for a birthday treat. We had a really lovely afternoon tea with a glass of bubbly. We looked out across the park and out to the harbour. It was interesting watching a wedding party mill around out the front. A beautiful day in a gorgeous building. Great friendly, polite staff and... More

A magnificent historic home houses this marvellous restaurant. Perfect for breakfast or lunch. Sit on the patio and enjoy the view of Watsons Bay and Robertson Park.

A spectacular day, sitting on the verandah at Dunbar house looking out at the beautiful Sydney harbour. Could it get any better......? Just a little. Once afternoon tea was ordered and my voucher offered several times to the waitress (which is what the voucher said to do) we received a small plate of high tea items. After trying to find... More

Book to enjoy a meal on our wedding anniversary as we were married at Dunbar House. So lunch was ordered. Zucchini flowers and fetta, mine was scotch fillet and fries. Lousy salad and very small serving of flowers. The fillet was very overcooked and McDonald's fries. A glass of wine each and $70.00 later. Very disappointed with the meal. The... More

We visited Dunbar House to celebrate our daughters birthday on a Sunday. We took the ferry over from the Quay. We had a table on the balcony which was perfect. We arrived a bit early but no problem for the staff who had a table ready in no time. I thought the menu for lunch had a great range of... More
