Tucked away in the back streets of Rozelle is this gem of a restaurant, well known by the locals. Expect fresh seafood, the best stuffed zucchini flowers on the planet, and true Italian service. We take every visitor, & we have never been disappointed. Yes, parking can be a problem, but it is everywhere on the peninsula, & there is... More

The food was good but they have the price vs. portion size wrong. My main issue was with the veal - 3 small escalopes and 3 pieces of broccolini for $28 is a bit steep. The fillet steak was better value at $34 as there were more vegetables. The meagre portions gnocchi and insalata caprese were delicious, but both needed... More

I went there for Mother's day and the food was delicious, we had pizza, ravioli and the seafood puttanesca and everything was spot on. I will come back.

my husband and I went here for dinner on a Friday night as we live in the area and had heard really positive things about this little hidden restaurant. Despite being away from the bustle of darling street it is a restaurant that has a lovely atmosphere and great service. The real standout though is the food. It is really... More

Superb food, friendly staff, and a nice and spacious restaurant. The only problem is the lack of parking in the vicinity. Defo worth a visit!

What a great pleasure to eat at an Italian restaurant which is not over the top with heavy sauces. Il Grappolo serves authentic, high quality Italian food that is subtle and flavorsome. Tonight there were three specials for each course in addition to the usual menu. The four of us shared a Prawn Hot Pot, a Bruschetta and two stuffed... More

I have walked past this place for months and have not given it a second thought. We've been twice now - rocked on in shorts on a Friday night after work...everyone else was a bit more dressy but still felt comfortable and welcomed. Second time I took my parents. the Food is sublime. good honest food cooked spectacularly well. I... More

A friend had a small birthday celebration here, and once we started to sample the food, I was annoyed that we hadn't found it earlier! We had two very fussy Italians with us and they were over the moon about the food. And no wonder. The chef has worked in a Michelin star restaurant in Italy! The garlic pizza (pizza... More

Tasty food, fast and effcient service. The staff are accomodating and freindly. The ambience is good if not a tiny bit loud, we went on a Saturday night and we had to raise our voices to be heard. However the atmosphere was great. Good value and good food.

I have now eaten at Il Grappolo twice in the past two weeks and found it to be very good. On the first occasion I had veal and potato with the veal cooked perfectly. My wife had prawns which she also enjoyed very much. The selection of icecreams provided a simple but tasty finish. BYO is $6 a bottle. On... More
