Food was tasty & staff were friendly to our son and they are getting 2 stars for that. It was my birthday of last year when we had dinner here. My husband organised it for me and our family as we haven’t experienced Teppanyaki just...yet. But then I was heavily pregnant and cannot travel further from Mosman. We are locals and could’ve been regulars but with our experience - will never come back again. We paid a banquet meal for 6 people and - there were 2 other customers that was squeezed in to our table - THAT’s OKAY but what is not OK IS the food division, we understand they were regulars but it was rude of the CHEF to give MORE food to the other customers - they share the meat that we paid for - me and my family witnessed how he divided the food portions - I was actually getting upset on my own birthday dinner because of what we kept witnessing during my birthday. So sad. Even our 99 year old next door neighbour told us he left the restaurant — unhappy and not full.More

Great atmosphere and amazing service, the staff all made sure we were well fed and cared for. The Chef was fun and engaging, and he made sure no one felt left out of the Teppenyaki fun!

Firstly the service is cold at best from the wait staff and you almost feel they are annoyed. The chef was very friendly although not the showman like experience you get at most other places in Sydney. Food was good and price is ok but...there are certainly better more welcoming and entertaining places to go.More

The food was excellently cooked and the experience was a lot of fun! The restaurant is quite small, so I would recommend booking. It’s also not really conducive to conversation as you sit around the grill, but for a fun evening out with the kids...it ticked a lot of boxes. The set menus are a great way to have a variety to eat, and they are reasonably priced.More

Here for a birthday with 10 others. It's not the cheapest meal for a restaurant but you are really paying for the show which doesn't disappoint. Special occasions definitely, just for a meal maybe not. Still lots of laughs. Good that it's BYO.

For years we have gone to this restaurant and enjoyed the Japanese Teppanyaki performance and food of Peter the Chef and his wife. We decided to take the grand children last night but what a disappointment. Restaurant had changed hands and we were greeted by...a sour mature Japanese lady who was very unfriendly. Restaurant was full of young children with parents but only one Chef. We waited with the grand children one hour before the chef came to our table to cook our meal. By that stage we had lost interest and had considered walking out. Biggest fault is accepting a multitude of bookings for the same time with one Chef. Food was not near as good as before and we certainly will never return.More

We went for an early dinner with two young kids. The food is decent but nothing special, but the theatre of the teppanyaki was great for the price and the kids had a blast. Would go again.

The food is consistently fresh and delicious while the banter and theatrics of the chef at the teppan keeps us engaged and in hysterics. Its the full egg throwing, rice catching experience! It’s great value and fun for all ages. We are going again tonight....It’s BYO, the house saki is excellent.More

Peter has bee here for 28 years, yes 28 years so says something. Not really for couples but families and groups. We were 9, 3 generations, 8 to 80. You do not go to House of Teppanyaki but for the fun whilst eating. Peter is...a whiz wuth his acrobatic culniary skills enjoyed by the 8 to 19 year old. Typical teppanyaki food, well prepared. Peter's helpers resrved Asian, very polite. Great family experienceMore

This place really disappointed me. Selected set menu B for 2 people. Gave us 3 prawns 4 baby scallops 1 chicken breast and 1 extremely small piece of steak all to split between 2 people. Each serving was 4 baby bites of food. Left disappointed...and still hungry! Will definitely not return! What a joke!More

I've bin to this place a couple of times when I was working in the area. It's a really fare price for really nice food. The chief is always making jokes and entertains everybody.

We organised for my daughters 11th birthday, and booked in for 5.30 when they opened so hoping we would be able to have the first sitting and enjoy, not so much the food but the entertainment that the chief would provide. There was another kids...birthday group at the same time, and we found compared to the other chef who was having loads of fun with kids, ours did not make any effort , he through the occasional bowl and a few eggs but other than that he totally ignored the kids and my husband and I. for the price we paid, I would of expected a little more effort, also when you see your child disappointed and looking at the other chef, knowing yours is not making an effort at all is not what you expect. I did complain however just was ignored. After 45 minutes and a large bill we decided that we would just have her cake at home. Would never recommend or go back. They need to ensure that all customers are treated equally and also the food was not that great compared to other similar restaurantsMore
