the restaurant offer spectacular views of the city and harbour from a different view. The menu is up market but not too expensive given the view. The staff are excellent and they have a good wine selection.ke the ferry from the quay and afterwards take it to Darling harbour or the casino. A good afternoon.

We enjoyed our celebration evening at Sails, food was plentiful and well presented. The maître d was very attentive and we were extremely well looked after without being intrusive. The menu is not huge but there are some interesting options and the specials for the day were worth investigating. Wine list was very good. Window table with Harbour views completed... More

Normally I dont like degustation where you must be in at 6pm and out by 8 however the Service and food quality was exceptional and very filling. Will take friends back there.

had a very ordinary dinner there recently - food was average at best, waiters lacked any zeal or personality and it was ridiculously over priced for the average food they delivered. Dont bother - go elsewhere.

We had lunch here twice during our last stay in Sydney and everything is stunning. The views are sensational, the food is better and the staff are just amazing. We've dined there at night previously and had the 7 course degustation menu with matching wines which was an absolute pleasure. They also do a 5 course degustation lunch menu. Overall,... More

We (a couple) made a late booking for lunch so didnt expect prime seating, however given we pay the same as everyone else visiting we didn't expect to have no view whatsoever. We sat away from the windows up against the internal wine rack (?) next to the entry to the toilets and kitchen. I could see a little bit... More

Sunday lunch overlooking the harbour at Sails is exquisite. The view would be breathtaking at night as the bridge and luna park light up. The menu is not overwhelming, a good sign they are not trying to present a multitude of dishes just concentrating on making what they do perfect and well presented. Fish of the day was dory, outstanding... More

We had the five course degustation menu with accompanying wines. Food was innovative and superb although lamb was not the tenderest (we're used to eating blackface which is a hard one to beat). Wines were good but slightly disappointing to us in that we felt they were 'safe' choices whereas the food combos on each course had more edge. First... More

I don't know why this place hasn't taken off big time, it's lovely, the view, the food and lovely wine cellar etc, it deserves to do well. I think it has a confused past life but hopefully people will give it another go!

Went here to celebrate my mother-in-laws 80th B'day. Both her and her sister were overwhelmed by all facets of the meal. This was the second time I have been here and when I made the booking the receptionist actually pursuaded me to change the day to avoid having the share the restaurant with a large group whcih would have made...
