We had a fantastic meal here. Great variety of menu choices, very good service and food was very good. Having lived in Bangkok for two years and a regular traveller to the region over the last 20 years I feel i am a reasonable judge. While not the best in Sydney definitely one of the better choices on the northern... More

Was very jaded with Thai food and had to be persuaded to go to Yok. It's is absolutely excellent. Better than any Thai food I've eaten anywhere in the world - including Thailand!

caught up with some old friends and wanted to try somewhere we had seen but never been. For entrée we all had spring rolls and agreed they were best we have ever had - we chose three different mains and were very impressed - generous sized servings and well prepared and presented. Once again agreement that this is best Thai... More

We were in Manly to attend a conference and happened upon this restaurant where they were prepared to feed us late one night. Excellent, innovative Thai food that we so enjoyed it became our restaurant of choice for most of the stay. Hope to get back there when next in Sydney as it is worth going out of the way... More

Went to the Bai Yok for a meal last night. As it was a Wednesday night there was no need to boo, however the restaurant was actually busier than expected. As it was a warm night we decided to sit outside. There are about 10 tables set up adjacent to the restaurant and the atmosphere was very good. We had... More

Went there for dinner. No complaints at all. Food excellent, staff friendly, all the ingredients were fresh, and prepared solely for you. No ping on the microwave..... Does not have many tables so I would definitely book on a busy night. Only slight concern was the service was that rapid, I had ordered and eaten a starter and main meal... More

Went here on a fairly cold Friday night in mid June recently, no booking, just turned up and got a seat outside. There was outdoor heating which was good. We had three dishes from the tapas menu, which looks interesting, we were almost tempted to just have lots of tapas and no mains, they look that good. Had the special... More

We have been dining at (Bai )Yok since it opened 20 years ago in Crows Nest and were thrilled to discover Yok here in Manly. Jay does a great job and while they can get very busy, the food is always great. We have never been disappointed. I love their new Thai Tapas menu which they introduced after opening their... More

This place has a very loud buzz to it, food was good and is very popular. We were seated outside on a warm evening.

My wife and I used to visit Australia on holiday quite often - always based ourselves in Manly simply because we liked the location. On our very first visit we stayed just round the corner form a hole in the wall Thai restaurant with a lovely and capable manager - Jay - who we took to immediately. The food was... More
