Delicious food and beer! Great serving of their famous Bavarian hotdog and the 'haus-made' chips. Waitresses were very friendly and service was great. The food was served on a wooden board and was surprisingly fast! Reasonable pricing for such a nice spot beside the water and the view of Manly Wharf was lovely. Mango bier was very nice, especially as... More

We enjoyed a very nice lunch and some excellent German beer. Nice relaxed atmosphere and very good service. The staff went out of their way to help with my wife's cousin who needed some help with seating arrangements. The view out over the Manly beach and esplanade was very picturesque, a nice cosmopolitan mix of sights.

Visiting family in Sydney and on the day of arrival went to Manley. Had a great steak with large salad, really enjoyed the meal. Some of the family had hot dogs, what a meal. Would recommend this place for the lovely location, food and certainly the service. Had a great German beer to help things flow!

I had lunch there with my wife and her sister and husband. the setting overlooking the water on a warm winters day was fantastic. We started with pretzels and then we had varying meals, one a salad and prawns the other three varying sausages with sauerkraut mash and gravy. We all enjoyed our meals, beer was good as usual as... This was a great place to relax before catching the ferry back to Sydney. The barman was friendly and obviously knew his beers so the one of us who likes beer enjoyed himself tasting a few. The freshly made pretzels were so good, if we hadn't just had brunch we would have overindulged in those. Wish I knew how to... More

Excellent breakfast. Love German style food and although the sausages were small, they were good. Had scrambled eggs, which because of the hot dish they were served in, turned into an omlette, but it was still tasty. Great waterfront location next to the ferry terminal. Had an open flame gas fire thing going on because it was slightly chilly in... More

Popped in a for a quick lunch and were very impressed. There were 3 of us including the pram for the baby and the staff were very accommodating, seating us inside out of the wind. The food was great with us choosing the HUGE pork schnitzel (which really was enormous), the roast pork roll and I had the bratwurst hotdog.... More

What better than to finish a day in Manly with a few Weiss biers, looking up the harbour towards the City. Snacks were great and next time I will try the great choices on the menu. If you are confused about what bier to try, ask for a sample and the bar staff will gladly oblige.

Wow, I got taken here tonight by the Mrs and daughter (and son, son in law and grandsons) and was blown away by the great atmosphere and service. We were offered a child friendly area of the restaurant and indulged ourselves in an amazing world of sausages, schnitzels and tasty morsels. The beers were also amazing :-) The thing that... More
