As a manly local, this place comes with the highest of recommendations. I'm reluctant to recommend so as to avoid crowds building up! The coffee during the day is great but can take a while due to its popularity. Two words... Beef fajitas. Fresh condiments, tasty beef and a huge array of hot sauces. Some wines are a bit overpriced... More

Amazing place, I'd say the best place in manly it get Eggs Benedict or breaky. Top quality ingredients (bread, pork, salmon, granola muesly, minced beef) and good service.

On a cold winters day we rugged up and headed to Bench. There is outdoor eating only but it was worth braving the chill as we ate ourselves through a lovely breaky! Try the Savory Mince on toast –you won’t be disappointed!

Great little find to stumble across bench. Coffee was strong and hot. Great choices on the menu for breakfast- the gluten free muesli was delicious and full of fresh and dried fruit. Would totally come back here. The staff were so friendly also; offering kids marshmallows and welcoming families. Would probably be pretty noisy on a busy sat/ sun morning... More

This is the first Mexican style cafe that caters for kids really well. The staff are friendly and really helpful.

We had someone recommend Bench to us as a good option with kids. I've seen the reviews about the service. Reality is that the service in Manly/Sydney tends to be a bit... well... laid back. Servers are paid well and don't depend on tips so there often isn't much of a sense of urgency. We saw some of that but... More

As a recent convert to Bench I must say I am impressed -the coffee is excellent and the staff attentive - on only third visit they remembered my order and that of my companions -well done!

Never again will i go to Bench. I have never received such bad service. Maybe the wait staff may invest in a notepad to take orders, so they remember them? Rather than bring out the wrong drinks continuously? And why would we want to wait over an hour for our food? Which we can't see because the lights globes have... More

I recently moved to Manly and I have tried to have breakfast in a few places, the Bench was the top five of my list. Great coffee, great food. For having had such good breakky experience, one day I went for lunch. What a mistake. The burger was small and not tasty, the chips were oily, a Happy Meal at... More

We've been here a couple of times now and just love the fajitas. Lots of variety, amazing flavour and love the selection of sides that come with it. Don't expect burritos and enchiladas as their main focus is the fajitas and they're AMAZING.
