I have enjoyed many roast duck curries in many cities and towns with this one topping them all. There is a basis roast duck but the lovely waitress suggested the spicy bbq duck curry and it was unbelievable. A larger meal, better shared but the mixture of smokey bbq (crispy skin) and the red curry, well fantastic.

I would go here with friends after university for a cheap 9.8 meal, it was fantastic. The food was affordable and it came with a drink. Now after new management all the prices have gone up. If you are university student you don't want to see prices rise. Don't go there anymore after the increase.

We just walked into this restaurant because we were staying across the road. The food was great as was the service from the lovely Latvian waitress. Recommended.

I dined with a friend this evening. We shared peking duck spring rolls and chicken wings. Seriously yummy, fresh and piping hot. Really great sauces...especially with the wings. For mains we shared duck in sweet and sour plum sauce and prawns in oyster sauce with veg and fried rice. Seriously sensational. Beautiful fresh produce, cooked perfectly with delicate flavours enhanced... More

Decided to eat here after watching a play at NIDA, but a little disappointed with our choice. Decor is pleasant, lighting in this restaurant is better than others in the area and the music is tasteful, set at talking level. We ordered chilli basil beef, spicy red curry duck....and steamed brown rice. We were served 2 plates of chilli basil... More

Khing Thai was a pleasant surprise! Couldn't get into Chairman Mao so my boyfriend and I ended up here. The place was quite but it was only 6pm and it quickly filled up. The coconuts were the freshest I have ever had and the entrees (prawn cake and chicken satay) were both light and full of flavour. The mains (king... More

Had a lovely meal at Khing Thai tonight. Very close to UNSW, opposite Addison Hotel. We shared 3 mains, Chicken & Cashews (my favourite, divine flavours), beef & satay sauce (my son loved this) and Massaman (our favourite Thai dish). The massaman was very good, nice large chunks of meat, lovely flavour, but the meat didn't melt in you mouth,... More
