We were a group of 4 girlfriends and found that there were several different areas in which to sit. The bar staff were very attentive and the pizzas were delicious. The place was packed by 11pm. Lots of atmosphere and would go back

This is one of a group of Bay Street eateries and bars - all really good and this one especially on a sunny day for lunch - outdoor tables and rustic timber bar to sit at and watch the people go by! Service good and friendly staff - good vibe, busy and buzzy day and night.

I have been here several times during the past couple of years because coffee was good. Took visitors yesterday on the promise of fabulous coffee . Service was slack and the coffee was lukewarm - virtually undrinkable. The barista was indifferent when we mentioned this. He lost a customer.

I came here ten months ago and forgot to review this bar and since then it has gone a bit down hill. The food for a bar is average with a limiting menu and is over priced as is the wine list which could be better. Whilst this bar has already got a reputation for a eastern surburbs pick up... More

Really like this place. Lots of fun for drinks as it is always busy and some of the food is very good too. Not much else in Double Bay comes close!

I came here once and havnt returned. Its a beautiful looking bar dont get me wrong, just the vibe i wasnt crazy about. The staff were lovely and quick to serve, the bar out the back is just jam packed and uncomfortable. Is quite expensive also.

The food is pretty good, but the place is famous for the Bar Scene. Thursday through Saturday nights the place is busy - but make sure you dress up as it is a beautiful people spot ! Service generally very good, but not a cheap night out (to be expected given in Double Bay).

Had lunch today at Mrs Sippy, Double Bay, very pleasant sitting outside on footpath, we shared a pizza that was very nice, had a some coffees and cold drinks, the outstanding dish was a vanilla panna cotta with salted caramel, yum yum yum. The lunch was great overall and the staff was polite and friendly, but pretty slow at getting... More

Mrs Sippy is a relative new comer to Double bay and over the last 12 months has become the "in" place for the trendites and fake tan wearers. The menu is small but the food is always delicious. There is usually a specials board to increase the choice. The wine list is shockingly expensive and it is hard to find... More

Mrs Sippy is full of all types, from the uber cool to the elderly gentry. Can get busy, great for a drink or a meal or both. Service can get strained in peak periods.
