High Quality cuisine at a reasonable price

Three mates and myself had lunch here on a Monday. We availed ourselves of the byo option and in the case of one 2002 vintage wine, the drink waiter went to a great deal of trouble to decant the wine and serve it. We shared various dishes including assorted sashimi, tataki, d/f chicken and... read more

We have been customers for this restaurant for years and haven't been going there for this year at all. Therefore, we decided to visit them last Sunday night for dinner. We ordered sushi, hand rolls, tempura, beef tongue and eel rice hot pot. After we almost finish the eel rice hot pot, the sushi we ordered still has not turned... More

We dined here Saturday night, and had a wonderful meal. It gets busy, so booking is recommended. There are 2 dining areas - I suggest the main room on entry level, as the other is downstairs and a bit out of the way. There are sushi and teppan bars, though we had a separate table, but will try them in... More

I had dinner there with two friends on a Saturday night. The booking was for 7pm. The food itself was alright. Nothing spectacular. The first 2 dishes arrived immediately. Then we waited for almost an hour till our remaining dishes came out! The two bowls of rice we ordered were only filled less than 1/3 of the bowl! A bowl... More

This is a great little restaurant. Tucked way in Crows Nest you will not be disappointed. Lunch sets are great value and often worth looking at the specials as they often have things that are not normally on the menu.

This is one of Sydney's best sushi restaurants, Tomoyuki Matsuya is a master of the art. I don't have much more to say other than, eat whatever he puts in front of you.

Went here to try from friend recomendation, was not dissapointed! The food was amazing, the presentation was excelent. Some of us were having omakase ( the dishes that selected by chef) the sushi just melt in your mouth. Great bite size. The chef (Tomoya) was really profesional and entertaining! Overall what a wonderful experience! Will come back soon.
