Situated on Miami Beach's northernmost stretch, La Terrazza is a refreshing addition to the region’s sleepy restaurant scene. This chic neighborhood hot spot shines for its eclectic, authentic Italian fare, featuring an astounding array of wood-oven fired pizzas, meats and seafood’s, offered at amazingly agreeable prices. Flawless red snapper is baked with fresh herbs and tomatoes, topped with a savory potato crust. La Terrazza’s sumptuous veal chop and tender rack of lamb are oven roasted to aromatic perfection. The wine cellar is well stocked and diverse. As the name suggests, La Terrazza (which is Italian for “the terrace”) has fast become known for its spacious outdoor covered terrace, kissed with ocean breezes. Never go if they have Live Music

I went many times there. Some good experiences and some bad experiences. But the worst was a night Live Music (Michael Chatillion) who literally ruin my dinner. Music is extremly loud and not even Nice. I was eating at tthe terrace and I decide to move inside. I dont know why some owners think... read more

It was lunch time, completely empty, but we were hungry and resolute to eat italian food. What a regret! I'm ashamed to say, but this time I made my choice before reading TripAdvisor's reviews! My mistake! Well the Risoto was a joke! I ordered the Risoto La Terraza. I always consider that the meal named with the name of the... More

My wife I went here twice when we were on vacation in Miami. The prices are reasonable and the food is outstanding. The owners personally checked on us to make certain we were enjoying ourselves. My wife and I highly recommend La Terrazza as family-friendly dining experience.

Food was average at best. certainly not worth the price. asked for an appetizer, got what they called "a full portion" and they would not change bill. no bread, salad or anything else with meal. But the old man flipping pizza crust was entertaining.

Watch your bill at this restaurant. they added more expensive wine to our bill and over charged us for meals. Be very careful when reviewing your bill. There are other reviews below which also mention problems with over billing. It totally ruins your meal and evening out when a restaurant tries to rip you off on your bill. Be very,... More

I ordered chicken marsala which was pale, greasy and swimming around the plate. My wife ordered lasagne which was difficult to cut - very tough. It was stuck to the plate with lots of cheese and little meat. There is a language problem too! The wines are expensive so I ordered cheap champagne and they only had one bottle. I... More

Place was recommended by a friend based on service from previous owner (Marcello). Place had a talented French Canadian singer that kept the small crowd smiling and interested. Service was untimely and drinks were stingy (challenged a double cognac back to bartender, which measure about 1.5 shots). When complaint was made to the manager it fell on deaf years. Manager... My mom and I stayed in Sunny Isles last week... and we actually really liked La Terrazza. The location was very convenient for us so the first evening we just decided to stop by and try it out. We were happily surprised with the food, so we even decided to go back during our stay. Despite the fact that the... More

This is one of the nicest restaurant I have been in the Miami region. Pizza is the meal I gauge new restaurants by and this one collects top honors. The crust, the toppings and the way it was cooked were simply sublime. Food is important but service is part of the equation too. That was the clincher. Our waiter was... More
