Good time. My wife and I enjoyed Cuban delights in a nice atmosphere. Plenty of healthy options. Lots of leftovers which are going to be nice for a midnight snack!

Because of the Trip Advisor reviews, we stopped by El Tropico for lunch on our way from Miami to Ft Lauderdale. The portions were generous, food was delicious, and service was friendly and helpful. We started off with Cuban coffee. Try it! It's strong and sweet. I had one of the sandwiches and my husband had the pork. We were... More

A visit to Miami without some cuban food is like going to NYC and not partaking in Pizza, it is criminal. HOWEVER, if you are in the North part of town (Aventura, Sunny Isles) you are quite far from Little Havana. If you need your fix, El Tropico is a great choice. The place is split into two parts, One... More

We couldn't check in our hotel and we were hungry since leaving the beach. Our valet told us to go to El Tropico. We sat outside at small tables which is on the sidewalk area of the shopping center. Parking is tight because there is fitness place, restaurants, beauty supply and more. We ordered chicken empanadas, rice and beans and... More

My son loved the skirt steak & he's a really picky eater. There was a wide selection of Cuban food. They had good service too!

Great food, Kids had Milanese fried steak. Wife & I shared whole Snapper. She was impressed by The Tostones, Plantains double fried. Got my wife to dance, live music after 8* pm. Great service.I don't do mojito. I'm Cuban, we bring our own.

Wished I had read the prior review about the Mojitos. Walked in on a Saturday without reservations. The food was very, very good and the live music was great! But was shocked when the bill came and the price for the mojitos was ridiculous. Would definitely come here again, but avoid the drinks.

We used Trip Advisor to pinpoint a Cuban dining experience. El Tropico was a great food experience in that my grilled dolphin in garlic sauce and my partner's Cuban sandwich were delicious. My sides of mixed rice and beans were bland & room temp. The spoiler for our first time here was being charged almost $25 for two mojito drinks!!... More
