Went to Trattoria Dante last night and knew it had been under a different name last year and it sucked as much as it still does. Maybe the old owners just changed the name? Don't think people should believe the reviews under the old name Cafe del Mar...note they are mostly from Sebastipol CA. Maybe the Owners? Anyway 160 pesos... More

This restaurant is beautiful! The food is just delicious and the staff are such great people and provide exceptional service. Great for a romantic dinner or visit with a friend. It's also fun to just hang out at the bar, chat to the bar staff and meet the locals.

I only dropped by here for a glass of wine and saw they had chocolate mousse, so of course I had to try it. It was Excellent, and a real treat since I find getting a good dessert can be a challenge around smaller towns in Mexico. The main meals looked very good, and I like the ambiance of the... More

Wonderful meal of Argentine steak and Dorado. Cocktails also perfect! The staff and the sunset venue made the experience special.

I had a bland little bowl of pasta (could have made at my room for a few pesos!), and my husband had a seafood "entree" that turned out to be a not very large bowl of soup which was shocking - and those two questionable entrees were nearly as much money as drastically better meals at both La Ola Rica... We had several breakfasts and one memorable supper of Red Snapper. Real good dining and the service was friendly and efficient.

Three friends and I all enjoyed dinner and then breakfast the following morning at the incomparable cafe del mar. We had eaten out all week, and the food here was clearly a cut above anywhere else we had gone. The fresh red snapper, with all the bones meticulously removed, was sublime! It was delicate and flavorful, wrapped in leaves and... More

You can only eat so many tacos until you need a break and when that time comes, you must go to cafe del Mar. Everything is so light and fresh and the servers are educated on their constantly changing dishes, so make sure to ask them. Our server recommended the Mahi Mahi tiradito which was perfectly flavored and had a... More

The newly located Cafe del Mar is even better than they were in the last couple of years. Unbelievably people haven't seemed to discover that. The new place has tables facing the street and a garden seating in the back. We started with the shrimp, grapefruit and avocado salad. It was tasty and refreshing and not too filling. So we... More

and much easier to find downtown san pancho.. The tequila basil mojito was something I was dreaming about, and now it will be the Hoya Santo wrapped Snapper with grilled pineapple and Cilantro lime avocado.. 4 stars since the desserts are ovepriced and mediocre. Love the food thogh!
